The Wolf project.

Chapter 1: The Ultimatum.

Skye was a unique girl. Growing up she didn't know who she was. She was dropped off at an orphanage at a year old. From there she was moved around by so many foster homes and some of them were good like the Brody's. But some of them were traumatizing like the Martin's.

Growing up not knowing who you are can be depressing. Especially when you have to give yourself your own name and didn't know when your birthday was so you picked the day you were dropped off at the orphanage with.

Skye was pretty resourceful though. When you grow up on the streets you have to know how to get certain things like food, or money.

Most of the time Skye did odd jobs such as hacking. Skye started to hack so that she could find out who her parents were but she also found out she enjoyed hacking.

Her fingers sliding over the keys on a computer was her safe space. Skye was an amazing hacker as well. She had never been caught because she was that good.

The only reason Shield caught her was because she wanted them to. She wanted to get on the inside so she could find out more about a redacted file that Shield had on her past.

She did not expect to be offered an ultimatum.

May's pov.

When they brought that girl in I could smell her from the cockpit. She was young maybe 18 years old. I went downstairs and was hit with a scent of familiarity. She smelled of apple cider and also strangely like daisies.

Every person has one scent that makes them unique and makes their smell more them. Only when a person has two scents which has only happened when you become a wolf.

This girl is suppose to be a wolf and she smells like Bobbi. I want this girl on the project. No matter what. A voice in the back of her head says. It was Peggy Carter and she used her head alpha voice.

Understood. May reported back. As soon as she stepped foot inside the room she saw two young pups standing outside the interigation room. Jemma Simmons and Leo Fitz stood outside the two way mirror looking at the girl who was being interrogated on by Phil Coulson and Grant Ward.

"You smelled her scent too?" May asked the pups gently. They both nodded. "Yes she smells like Bobbi." Fitz says in his Scottish accent. "So, is she going to be a wolf as well?" Simmons asked in her British accent.

"Yes, Peggy said she wanted her in one of the packs. We don't know which one yet." May said. As soon as May let her eyes settle on the girl their was a growl in the back of her head MINE. Bobbi growled out.

You could tell she was happy that she had found her mate since most of the pack found their mates so far.

The interigation got a bit out of hand when Ward yelled at Skye and took a few steps towards her. For some reason May took a few steps forward protectively.

She figured it was because Skye was Bobbi's mate but she knew differently. It was because she had a gut instinct that this girl was going to be her pup soon.

You are correct Melinda. Natasha will be Skye's alpha. Peggy said. May could feel her mate Natasha was happy that she'd get a new pup. She's so adorable Mel. Just look at her innocent doe eyes. Natasha gushed over the new pup.

May rolled her eyes at her mate and saw Fitz do the same. Since they were in the same pack they were both keyed into the conversation in their heads from their other pack mates. Simmons was in another pack though so she couldn't hear their packs banter unless she was allowed to.

As soon as the interigation was done Coulson came out after giving Ward a minor truth serum until he passed out. When this happened May walked into the room after shutting off the camera for that room and walked over to Skye.

"My name is Melinda May, I'm here with an offer that you can't really refuse since it was decided by the head of the project. There is a secret project that Shield has been working on called the wolf project " I said

"This project is to take a person and genetically alter their genes to match that of a wolf's. This project would give you super strength, speed, agility, flexibility, and senses. You'd also have a mind link for the pack that you'd be in." I tell the young girl.

She looks at me funnily. "Why do I have to be apart of this project?" She asked which is a very good question. "The head alpha requested you to become a wolf. Normally you'd have a choice, but it seems the head alpha wants you in a pack and has threatened jail time if you don't." I told her.

Skye looks around the room nervously. "Alright. I guess it's gene mutation or jail time. I'm not meant for jail. I'll do it." Skye said. I let a small smile slip towards her and pat her head.

When I leave the room she does as well and then we go to our separate areas. I go to the cockpit and she goes towards the labs.

Our first mission as a team is going well. Coulson sent Fitz, Simmons, and I to the hidden lab that blew up whilst he tries to get the identity of the hooded hero from Skye.

As soon as we got back we went to a debrief. The man happens to be Mike Peterson and we watched a video. "What are we seeing here?" Coulson asked. "Well the man is angry at the other man." Fitz explained. No one found that funny but I was amused.

"Would it be better if you had the audio?" Skye asked. Then Fitz and Simmons started speaking science words that I didn't really understand before turning to Skye "yes, we'd like the audio." Came out of Fitz's mouth and "the audio would be great" came out of Simmons mouth.
