Chapter 18

*Zayn's P.O.V.*

"May I help you?" asked the half naked boy who I knew as 'Damon'.

"Where's Anthea?!" I asked angrily.

A girl stepped next to Damon and I recognized her immediately.

"Anthea...is this your boyfriend?" I asked.

Anthea tried to speak but I continued.

"And what do I have to do with 'getting closer to H'?" I asked.

"Zayn, you read my text messages?" she asked in disbelief.

"That's not important. I think I did the right thing considering you were playing Damon and I both!" I yelled.

Anthea looked as if she were about to laugh.

"Damon is my brother! I can't believe you would think that!" she gasped.

"Fine. You still didn't answer my question though. Why were you staying with me to get closer to 'H'? Does 'H' stand for Harry? My best friend?'" I asked.

"When you invited me to stay over I couldn't say no! I liked you plus it was closer to wear I work. 'H' stands for Hollister!" she said.

"Yeah, why did he say 'are you doing the right thing' huh?" I asked.

"You really read through all my text messages. Wow. And it's because he's never met you!" she said.

I took a step back, guilt filling up inside of me. She didn't do anything wrong. It was all my fault.

"I'll take that back," she snatched the phone away from my hand as she shooed Damon away.

"I can't believe it. We're not even dating and you still don't trust me." She slammed the door on my face. I waited patiently for her to come back but she never did. Of course. I always ruin everything. I just pushed away another person I cared about.

*Harry's P.O.V.*

So, as cliché as this sounds...Kylie and I are back together. Truth is I needed her and she needed me. Kylie decided that no matter what happens, she won't let the paparazzi get in between us, and neither will I.

I was taking Kylie out to a date because we haven't been on one in a very long time. I called Zayn so maybe we could double date with him and Anthea but he said he had other plans.

I hopped into my Mercedes Benz and drove off to Kylie's flat. Just as I made a turn to get onto her street, I noticed three familiar figures in a car together. It was Lauren, Todd, and that girl from court. I think her name was Nicole? I don't know. It looked like they were in a serious discussion that seemed very suspicious. I better tell Kylie about this later.

"Hey, it's open!" Kylie's voice echoed from the other side of door and I pulled it open. Kylie was vacuming her carpet and at the same time trying to finish eating a banana.

"Hey, love," I plopped a kiss on her cheek and took a seat on the couch. Just as I found the remote for her T.V, my phone vibrated so I answered it.

"Harry?!" asked a feminine voice on the other side.

"Hey Eleanor, what's up?" I asked.

"Get your ass in another room right now," she stated.

"Why-"

"Just do it," she demanded.

I didn't want to get into a fight with Louis' girlfriend so I just signalled Kylie that I would be stepping outside for a moment.

"Is Kylie still there?" asked Eleanor.

"No," I assured her.

"Good. Because she will not have to see me come and beat the shit out of you!" Eleanor screamed.

"Woah, El, what's wrong?" I asked.

She screamed into the phone but I couldn't hear her.

"Hold on, I'm putting it on speaker," I said. I clicked the speaker button.

"What is wrong with you Harold? You are using the poor girl! Louis told me all about your stupid bet and how you're only using her!" Eleanor protested.

"Eleanor!" I said trying to calm her down.

"Relax. It started off that way but-"

"Harry, tell me everything and I won't get mad. Right from the start. You have 1 minute," she stated.

"Alright so when I was merely a fetus-"

"No! Not the beginning of YOU! The beginning of the BET!" she yelled trying to hold back her laughter.

"Alright. Louis dared me to maintain a stable relationship with the most unattractive girl at the restaurant," I stated. I still heard her breathing so I continued.

"I chose Kylie. She looked very nerdy but now that I think back she actually looked very cute," I thought back to the first time we met and smiled.

"I started to date her and things got serious. But I lost the bet," I didn't want to mention the part where I kissed Lauren because I was so ashamed of it.

Eleanor was silent for a few moments before responding.

"Wait, if you lost the bet then why are you still dating her?" asked Eleanor.

"Because I love her. I swear. That bet was the best thing that happened to me. Kylie showed me how to be real again. Although she makes my heart all mushy, I'm glad to have met her. I'm glad she's mine," I said into the phone.

"Alright Harry. But please let me meet her ASAP. Louis' yelling at me now so I gotta go, bye bye Harold!" she hung up the phone before I had the chance to say bye as well.

I was about to step back into Kylie's flat until I heard something. It almost sounded like a high pitch giggle. It sounded like an echo but at the same time very close. It sent shivers up my spine and I grew worried. Was someone laughing at me? Was someone listening? I stepped back inside the flat and pretended as if it was nothing.

So....Zayn made a mistake. Do you want him and Anthea to be together? Leave comments! So....Eleanor made sure Harry actually loved Kylie but now that she knows he does, all is well.....for now.
