....hallelujah!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I woke up to my dog, Bella, licking my face. I laughed and shoved her off of me, not that I minded her on me, its just that she was my alarm clock. The one that told me it was time for me to get up and ready for school.
Throwing the covers off of me, I got out of bed and made my way to the bathroom, stopping to give Bella a scratch behind her ears.
I turned on the shower, removed my clothes and stepped in, letting the warm water envelope me as I thought about quantum physics.
BANG! BANG!
I was jarred awake from my thoughts about Albert Einstein's theory of relativity as my sister, Molly banged on the bathroom door.
"Get out!" She yelled at me through the door. "I need to get ready and beauty takes time!"
"Then get a watch, because it seems to me that you don't know 5 minutes from 20." I quipped.
Now don't get me wrong, I love my sister, but every pair of siblings has. their rivalry and ours is who can have the sassiest comebacks.(Me mostly being the winner.) Our relationship is the best though, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
"Nice one." She commented.
"That's what she said." I hollered in amusement.
"Ew, ew, ew!" I laughed, my sister sure is squeamish. "Plus, how would you know? It not like you ever did the nasty."
My face fell and I could practically see the smirk that was plastered on her face through the door. I didn't hold what she said against her though, it's not like she knew what happened.
Shutting off the shower, I wrapped a towel around my waist and walked out, not saying a word.
"What's wrong?" Molly ask noticing my sudden change of mood.
"Nothing," I replied plastering a fake smile on my face. I can't believe I let that comment get to me. It shouldn't have, it was in the past, this, right here was the present, and I couldn't let something that was in the past bug me like that.
"You're comeback was just too sassy for me." I winked at her, and continued walking to my room.
After putting on a blue plaid button down shirt, white cargo pants and a pair of converse, I went down stairs to eat some breakfast.
Being the amazing cook that I am because I took a (cooking) course, I decided to make myself some banana pancakes. Just as I put my plate of pancakes down in the table, Bella came running down stairs...straight towards me.
Being the wimp that I am, I covered my face with my hands as if it would actually do something to help me from getting hit by my 5 year old German Shepard.
I let out a loud 'Oof' as my body hit the ground. I stayed there with my eyes closed pretending to be injured. Bella nudged me with her nose. I didn't respond at all until she started licking my face. Through her licking, I managed to get out the words, "Good girl, now I know I can count on you in case anything happens to me."
I got off of the floor while chuckling to myself. That dog was quite smart, I taught her well.
I sat down to eat my pancakes and then filled Bella's food bowl so that she can also have some breakfast.
