Chapter 7 Sauasages

Sophia's P.O.V.

I woke up this morning feeling ok, not because of the weekend (it's Saturday) but because.... Well the more I think the more I don't seem to know, haha strange isn't it?

I got up and changed into normal clothes and went downstairs to get breakfast, as i did this my dad came in the door. He's also the chief of police in our town. "Hello daughter" he said casually. "Hey dad". I said back. "Any news?".

My dad shrugged his shoulders as if I'd asked an average question. "Mehh" he replied back. ."Nothing happening around town not even small stuff like robbing I swear half of the policemen who are meant to be patrolling downtown are up in the station". I sat down eating Cornflakes. "Well there is one thing, Mike Burner the local farmer has been complaining a lot to me about some dog attack on his farm."

I froze. "What??". "Yep" he replied back. "He's saying if it happens again he'll call animal control, or he'd said he'd shoot it himself."
This caught me off guard 'what happens if he does shoot Jake?' I thought 'please god please don't.

"There's still no proof though." My dad said again "The footprints of the animal have gone due to the rain, and he can't just shoot some random dog as it might be owned by someone local."

"Oh that's good then." I said quickly. "Like.. I'd um hate to see some dead dog." My father nodded. "Well I'm off for the next few hours so I'm going to chill out here." I nodded and got up. I also said "Um dad can I hang out with my mates in town?."

He looked at me. "Yeah sure that's fine but don't be gone all day." "I won't!!!" I said back and then left.

Jakes P.O.V.

I got up yawning loudly and sat up still tired. After I went to Sophia's I went home quickly enough and just went to bed for a while.

As I got out to change I just remembered 'I'm a werewolf' it was a bit random to think this but it just went into my head I guess- WAIT *sniff sniff* hmmmm something smells good!!!

I bolted down the stairs so quick I crashed into the front door.... But strangely enough it didn't hurt 'Guess the door can't hurt me' I thought.

I headed into the kitchen and straight away smelt SAUSAGES.

"Mom when are they ready." I said half whining. "In a few minutes calm down." She said back. As if out of nowhere I bounced all the way over to the dining room and sat there.

My mom laughed. "What is up with you lately?" She said. "Your like a wild child I never remember you being this hyper." She put the sausages on the table and I eat one straight away, and then another and another and another....

"Jake!!" My mom said as if annoyed. "I was going to make hotdogs with them." I looked up and did the puppy face "I'm sorry but you know I love sausages!" I said dramatically. My mom nodded. "Ok ok I know you do but you need to calm down eating or you'll puke.

As I was about to finish the doorbell rang. I ran out to it quickly and crashed into the door again 'what's wrong with me?' I thought 'is this because of me being a werewolf or am I acting weird'. I opened the door and it was Sophia. "Hey!" I said happily. She smiled and said hey back.

"So um I was wondering if you wanted to hang out?." She asked. "Yeah no probz." I said back. I turned back into the house and yelled " I'm going to hang out with Sophia." "Yeah that's fine!!!" She yelled back.

"So um I'm just wondering now that you're a werewolf how are you feeling? Like I'm really curious." She said. "Well I feel ok." I said. "But for some reason I keep crashing into my front door."

She laughed loudly as if what I said was way funnier then a joke, after a while I started laughing as well. Eventually we both quietened down at the park and sat down.

"Well um I don't know what else to say.." I said awkwardly. "How was your first transformation, into your wolf?." I thought for a few seconds. "Well it HURT LIKE SHIT." I said and she laughed slightly. "Well first transformation always does."

"Ok ok more seriously, well when I was a wolf it felt weird cause I was way lower and um it felt like I was their... I mean I WAS there its just I wasn't in control" I finished. "After that everything kind of speeded up quickly and I only remembered waking up in Burners field.

The sky was getting dark, Sophia said. "Well we better be going cause it's going to rain a lot." I then nodded and sniffed the air like a dog. Sophia laughed again and for that moment I'm glad that she did. 'She understands me' I thought 'even when I am different'

As we left I felt uncomfortable. As I looked around the park I saw Chris and growled. Sophia saw this and as if magic she said. "Jake you've already attacked him just leave him be." I stopped.

"C'mon lets go home, there might be more sausages." I grinned happily and started running home with Sophia.

Sophia's P.O.V.

'Should I really have said that' I thought. 'Guess he does love sausages."

Hey whoevers reading this! I updated again and I think I've wrote my longest chapter (dunno really) well stay tuned cause there'll be more thanks!!!

P.S. - yeah I think I only skipped two spaces between the sentences I dunno really lol I'm gunna end it there
