River's heartbeat sky rocketed. Not only because suddenly he was the centre of attention of all the students present there which he absolutely did not welcome but also at how deeply those beautiful amber eyes stared into his own. It literally gave him goosebumps and a spark of electricity shot through his body when that 6'3 model looking face smirked at him. He knew instantly that it was no other than Draven Gray himself that was viciously smirking at him. Him and his two partner in crime , actual crime were staring the shit out of Rivers shocked eyes.

How did he even realise I threw his template ?!

And even if I did then then what's the big deal ?! Raven screamed internally .

He didn't even know if it was appropriate to ignore every single gaze and keep walking. He didn't know what was the big deal about accidentally throwing a template . Either way River was completely frozen . Draven and his three mates were quietly analysing him. With the crumbled paper in the kings one hand , the other in his pocket and his eyes buring holes in Rivers , everyone had figured out what had happened and was excited for the drama about to take place.

Without saying anything the boy raised hie eyebrow at River. Taking this as an que to speak River started , rather confidently " I am sorry , I meant to throw it in the dumpster. "

That earned him quiet a few gasps.

" Are you dumb or just being sarcastic ? Bad day kid , he just woke up on the wrong side of the bed with the wrong girl today " zane snickered .

" Either way , boy got balls " Lucas laughed .

It was amusing seeing someone unintentionally disrespect their best friend . It was new.

" Aside from the shit aim after having four eyes " Draven gestured at Rivers glasses "... are you just as bad at telling what's regarded as trash ? "

That made River furrow his brows in confusion . What's the trash this guy's talking about ?

" Let me show you how to dump garbage , take notes Walmart harry potter ." Draven's raspy voice that was shockingly very pleasant to hear said.

He went ahead and snatched Rivers glasses off his face , snapped it in half , turned around and threw it as it landed right inside the dumpster.

The hallway was full of gasps and snickers .

Without saying a word. The crazy bastards left. As if they didn't just damage somebody's property and ego. River on the other hand found himself on the intersection of standing up for himself or following through his plan of being invisible and avoiding trouble in future. He could easily walk away with his head down and this incident will be forgotten just like the other daily victims of the kings. But to hell with the plan when someone dared to do something like that to River. He may not be rich in terms of money but there's no dearth of self respect in this boy.

Without thinking a second more he turned around to scream " DRAVEN YOU ASSHOLE ! "

But sadly his boyish crackly voice was overpowered by the long and loud siren that went off indicating the start of the 1st class . All the students started to rush towards their classrooms , noone paid heed to the poor boy except for one person.

" Hey , hey let's not do this right now , let's go to class or else we will not be allowed to enter , they're very strict with time ." An afraid Sammy said as he pulled on boy way taller than him . The 5 '9 male , still angry letting himself get dragged.

After the classes ended , in which River struggled a lot to focus because he kept getting those flashbacks . It was the time to go to the cafeteria when somebody rushed for him as he exited the class.
