" So , Sammy are you going to follow your brothers footsteps and join the electoral house at school ? You're already in your sophomore year ! " Mrs. Gray asked sweetly. Opposed to her son and husband , she had a grounded and easy going personality yet was savage and fiesty when the situation demanded.

Gray's had a type afterall.

"No , Mrs. Gray I haven't decided on that " Sammy answered clenching the cutlery tightly in his damp fists . Uneasiness visible in his body language.

" Oh is that so , well Draven here can guide you on that , he's the head of the house. " Nina suggested confidently. Her voice holding a sweetness when talking about her son .

" He's in the sophomore year mom and for the house , he has to first join the concerned club , peform duties , provide enough services to get elected as the captain of the club and then he'll be considered as the members of my house. You know the drill " Draven explained in a matter of fact tone since Nina herself was an alumni of Horizon high school.

This little bug could never. He looked down and muttered under his breath.

But then it struck him. He could still escape this torture of an evening.

" However the underdog over here has already filed for the science club in his school application form and is in the talks to be elected as one of the club captain. " Draven announced while giving Sammy a mischievous look.

And River was speechless. Infact everyone was.

How does he know that ? And why the hell is he bringing that up right now ?!

" How ?! I'm a newbie and haven't done any services whatsoever , how can I be appointed as the captain? " River pointed out.

Draven laughed at the obliviousness of the supposed academic genius .

" No one cares about the services as long as you have strong connections and as per new rules teachers have the say in appointing captains..." from reserved category of welfare students. Draven explained the half in his mind.

" Looks like you are not that informed on the subject ." He added as he slurped some soup.

River was baffled. He didn't know why Draven knew all of that and why was he suddenly being appointed as a captain . However he did  know that Draven had something to do with it .

" Oh how lovely to know that your friend holds such a good reputation among his teachers ." Mrs Miller expressed her joy to her very confused son.

" You just need some mentoring and you can even be the future leader of the house , right ? . " Mrs. Gray asked the table .

" Indeed " Mr. Gray replied.

Bingo .

Draven smirked before eyeing the two guys viciously . And they knew more trouble was coming .

" Ofcourse " Draven looked at his watch .

" Even today is a good chance. Since the student council elections are so close , my club is having a meeting today . All the members are there . I can take him there to draw in some links , he can stay over there and I'll even drop him at your door step next morning Mrs. Miller. " he suggested.

Both of the boys were angry and even impressed . Draven turned around the whole conversation now using them as the scapegoat to go to the so called " club meeting " .

" we're okay with it but what about their sleepover-. "

" Sammy can come too . He's friends with Lucas Wolf and infact was today with him and -
