Turnal = griever
Nocturnal ik I'm rly smart

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After running from the beast, swinging around corners and clinging onto vines, I had finally been cornered. The turnal slowed down as if savouring my panic.
But as its stinger came swiftly towards me, I ran around it, clinging to it. The Turnal flung my body around and smashed me off the walls. With every movement, I was in even more pain.
Finally, the Turnal swung its tail backwards as I let go, being thrown down the hallway. It felt like I had just been run over with a truck, but I had to get up.
Continuing my fleeing, I looked beside me to see a dronebug flying my pace beside my feet. I kicked it, smashing it to pieces. It didn't matter. It was just a hunk of metal at the end of the day.
In the end, I ended up in a Crossway between 9 of the stone hallways. Meaning there were 9 ways for me to go. Though my supposed freedom had been a trick as Turnals suddenly came down every hallway rampaging their way towards me.
Looking back where I came from, that turnal had also started coming towards me.
I couldn't be bothered to fight anymore, I was too tired.
Alone, I always have been, for as long as I can remember. Now, I would die alone.
As they all got closer and closer, I closed my eyes, waiting for the sweet release of death.
Gasping for air, the girl felt around her she couldn't see anything.'Am I blind?'. Everything was pitch black, and it was freezing.
Feeling around the floor for something, anything that could tell her where she was. A smooth, cold feeling travelled up her right arm.
Travelling around the object with her fingers, suddenly they went cold, and pain started shooting throughout them. luckily, yet not so luckily, this had confirmed that this was infact a knife.
Her hand hurt like hell, but her mind still knew she had to get out of this place. Standing up, her whole body started to shake, not well acquainted to standing yet, as her legs gave way her arms extended, hoping to grasp something.
To her surprise, her fingers intertwined around a metal wall, her hand grazing the cold, rusted metal until she found another one only hand to reach away.
Soon, she found that she could stand in the middle of the room, outstretch her arms, and feel both walls. Unknown claustrophobia started to kick in as she frantically started pounding on the walls of the cage.
Still confused trying to get out, a white line of light shone down onto her, getting closer and closer.
As the light came closer, it wasn't slowing down.
Closing her eyes, she waited for impact, but it never came; instead, she got flung up into the air, hitting her back when she fell back to the ground.
She is still clasping her knuckles around the knife. Waited for something to happen. Her face showed a look of bravery but could not fool anyone as her body was quivering too much.
