Walking into the deadheads, I found it actually quite relaxing. The trees covered me from all angles, creating a feeling of privacy.

So I found a sturdy tree and climbed, it wasn't that far off the ground and could be seen if anybody needed, me but I just sat there head against the tree with some time to think about everything that's happened in, well, not even a day.

My mind immediately went to all the bad things at once. I cut myself on a knife. I'm the only girl in a group of like 50 teenage boys. I almost got harassed on my first day. I got drunk, and I passed out.

Then I realised how dire my situation was, I'm stuck in this box for the rest of my life. I let a tear fall from my eye, I didn't usually cry because it seemed weak, but I was alone, so it was okay.

But I wasn't alone. Sitting on the branch next to me was a bug. It was quite a weird bug. It had two giant eyes, and its shell gleamed like metal. I wanted to feel it. I wondered if it was smooth or fuzzy.

I stood up on the branch I was on to get closer and reach my hand out toward the creature. It seemed to be looking right at me.

I was about to touch it on my tippy toes when I heard a stick break behind me, causing me to turn around and fall.

"Careful!!!"

I fell off the branch I was standing on and landed in amongst the leaves on the ground. The first thing I felt was the tingling sensation from my knees as I slowly realised both of them were grazed and bleeding.

The second thing I noticed was the bright red substance staining the bandage around my hand... and the unbearable pain that came with it.

"Are you alright. You took quite a tumbling there." As I turned around, I realised newt was there. He winced as he saw the state I was in.

"Yea, I'm fine it's just a scratch, nothing to worry about." I responded. Newt is great and all, but I really wanted to be alone.

"No, it's not. It's not just a scratch, and we're going to the med-Jack's." He grabbed my arm and started leading me toward the med-Jack's.

"I don't wanna bother them anymore."

"How are you 'bothering them'? It's their job," he replied, his hand still around my wrist, but he had stopped and looked back to me.

"I've been there 3 times, and I haven't even been here for a day." I said, avoiding his eyes.

"Love, you're not bothering anyone. You're just unlucky that you're clumsy." He ruffled my hair and I looked up meeting his gaze "now come on, let's get you patched up," I couldn't exact argue with him so I just let him drag me to the med Jack's.

We soon arrived, and, as if perfect timing, Clint came running out of the building yelling for newt.

"What is it?"

"It's gally. He keeps saying random stuff, and he's thrashing around like crazy, I'm scared the bounds keeping him down will break." He was talking really fast.

Newts POV

I forgot about the greenie and ran straight into the hut, gally had gotten stung this morning. We have no idea how because he wasn't even in the maze. He was the reason I had to move the greenie to my room.

The second I burst in the door, Gallys hand bounds broke, and he started lunging for Jeff. The only thing keeping him from grabbing the terrified boy was his feet still bound to the bed.

Me and Cint quickly rushed to him, each securing a hand.

"Gally, you gotta snap out of it, man," Clint said whilst struggling to hold down his left arm. Gally was stronger than both of us, though, and quickly chucked us off.
