Chapter 2: Walking into the trap

JUNGKOOK's POV:

After hearing her proposition I was somewhat baffled and surprised. I never thought I will get such a deal in real life. I came here today to deal with the debt of that old man Bruschweiler. He was one of my main rivals in the trade market. We were not into much friendly terms. It surprised he took a huge sum of money from me, knowing fully well I am not a very kind or honest person. I don't usually go to every house to collect debt, but I felt it will be interesting to see that old man's family. Well it sure is interesting. His daughter is quite beautiful I must say, very unique and natural looking. She looks mixed race like me. She is quite daring too, right now she is basically selling herself off to me without thinking about what I might do to her. I am not a very good man you see. But I think it is not a bad deal. I can use her in my plans. Thinking about it I unknowingly smirked. Seeing me smirk she looked surprised and a hint of fear could be seen on her face. I said, "Miss, are you sure about this, I am not as good as I may look  you know. Also it will take at least 8 years to pay the whole debt money back to me even if you work for me." I smirked and looked at her. She was taken back with my statement, but she gained her composure again and said, "Sir Jeon, I am pretty sure you being a noble must have seen much more attractive ladies than me and will for sure will not be interested in a girl like me, also I don't think you have free time to spend to torture me. And the matter of 7 years, I can go back if I am able to pay you back before the time. I am pretty sure I can do this." Hearing this my smirk faltered. Wow I never thought her to say that. Well whatever, as long as I gain from it. I gave her a loop sided smile and said, " Alright miss Lisa, I will agree to this. We can sign the contract tomorrow and then you have to come with me to London, to my house. Then you have to stay with me for around 7 years. If you are able to pay back before that time, then you are free to go. " After hearing this she looked a little troubled. Regretting it already? Then she suddenly said, " Sir Jeon, my aunt is sick and requires urgent treatment. I know its unsightly to say this but can you please pay for that too. You can add that to the debt."  At this her aunt, who was standing near her grabbed her arm and looked sternly at her. She turned to me and said, " Sir Jeon, please ignore this child. She is too young to know worldly affairs, She didn't---" I cut her off and said, " I will give it so don't worry. As for the payback of that amount, I will ask for it when I see fit. Now then, as all is settled, I will head back and visit tomorrow with the contract." Saying this I headed out of the house and went inside the carriage. My assistant, Vernon followed me and sat inside the carriage. He is also a mixed blood like me, half Korean, I guess that's why I trust him a lot. After sitting in the carriage he suddenly asked, " My lord, why did you accept such ridiculous deal. What benefit will that little girl give you?" I just smiled and said, "I never make a transaction that doesn't benefits me. You will  see the benefit that girl has and how she is quite needed in my plan. Just wait and watch."
