Thunder Storms And A Book Thief

Rays POV

It was finally time to head home. After we packed all our stuff we got into the car and drove off. We had two cars. I was grouped to travel with Norman, Emma, and Nat. When we got home we dropped Crystalline, Shelley, and Raymond at my moms house to live there. It was nighttime and we were exhausted so me and Norman went into our shared rooms and went to bed.

Emma's POV

When we got back I ran into my room and jumped down on the bed and laid there. "Finally I'm back". I laid down to try and go to sleep. 30 minutes has passed and I still can't go to sleep. " Maybe ill read a book in the library." As I put on a coat to over me so I'm not just bra and panties, I began walking down to the library. As I walked in I heard a thump inside the wall. "Huh". I went and knocked quietly at the wall as I got closer to the window I finally heard a hollow knock. " something is behind this poster ". As I remove the poster I just see a few books. " why would anybody hide books". I grabbed some and sat on the bean bag and ready a few pages. As I read I saw pictures of men and women doing things. I went back to the title. Why would the boys purchase this? As I thought then I went and scrolled threw a few more pages. When I saw how the two boys touched the girl I immediately started thinking of Ray and Norman doing the things to me in the pictures. My nose started bleeding just thinking about us doing this. I read one book after another and before I knew it I finished the all the books that were in the wall. I immediately felt my heart rise in each chapter of a love manga about a girl who is in love with two men from her high school. When I was reading the second book things with the girl and the two men escalated quickly as I saw them doing actions that seemed to make them please each other. I thought about Ray and Norman doing that to me again and I was all red. But then I heard a noise that was unpleasant.

there was a loud bam! And I jumped up. It was thunder I tried to stand up but I heard another BAM! but this time it was louder. I fell on the ground. Then when I looked out the window to see the generator I saw a quick flash a white and heard another big BAM!!!! I looked up to see that the power was off. I immediately ran down the hall into the kitchen under the counter. At this point I was crying. There was another BAM! I flinched and looked down. Every time the lightning strikes more tears came out. There was another big BAM!!! that made me shriek. I stayed under the counter for 40 minutes straight with each lightning strike louder than the one before.

Rays POV

I woke up to hear a shriek. I turned to Norman. He was also awake from the scream. We slowly walked out when we got to the kitchen we saw Emma under the counter. She looked pale and terrified as if she saw a ghost. "Emma!" Norman went to her. There was another BAM! That made Emma jumped on Norman. We both looked at each other and nodded. Norman then carried Emma to my room since I had the biggest bed. We laid down and put Emma in the middle of us. "Shh... Its okay Emma we are here". We comforted her threw the night by stroking her hair. 

The next day me and Norman were weaker by Don and Nat. " Why are y'all waking us up" I complained. "Someone found the books!" Nat said panicking. Me and Norman then realized and started looking at Emma. "Can you both leave your waking Emma up." Norman whispered. "Wait Emma is he-!" I shot a look at them then they left. Norman you don't think Emma was the one who discovered the books!" I said. "Maybe that's why she was up that late" Norman responded. "if anything we should just wake up and see how she behaves now." I said before getting up. "I'm going to take a shower". " can I join you". I looked at Norman. "Sure" just hurry. I walked into the bathroom and turned the shower on. I soon got into the shower followed by Norman. After we bathed we got dressed and headed to the kitchen.

Emma's POV

I woke up in Rays room. "Why am I here" I just stood up and left the room. When I got dressed I started to head to the kitchen and then I saw Ray and Norman. I quickly grabbed my bag and left. I texted Gilda where I was going. As I walked threw the town I saw the newly cafe where I usually get my coffee. When I was heading home I felt like someone was watching me. I quickly shoved it off and continued walking when I turned the corner I could see our house. I was walking till I suddenly felt someone grab my hand. I turned around to see a man. "Umm sir is everything okay?" I asked. He said nothing and just dragged me away from the house. The moment he dragged me I punched his face. "I'm fine ill just go this way thank you very much" the moment I walked away I heard quicker foot steps. I started to pick up my pace. I turned to see the man running at me and catching up. I quickly jumped on a tree and climbed it up and began calling Norman.

 "Hey Emma is something wrong". 

" Norman can you lock the front door please and the back door please!" I quickly shouted. 

"uhh okay. Hey Emma are you okay". 

 the man began to climb the tree 

" everything is fine uhh open my window please!" 

I began to jump down and run even quicker 

"Emma what's going on!"

"nothing just open my window!"

"Fine"

"Is it opened!" 

"yes Emma why are you shouting!"

"No reason!"

I quickly climbed up the tree and jumped threw my window 

"Emma what the hell" "oh hi Norman" as I quickly shut and lock my window. "What ever I'm gonna head down stairs." He said "oh okay". I quickly collapse on the bed after he left. " I look out my window to see if he is gone. I saw no sign oh him... or so I thought.

Norman's POV

As I walked out of Emma's room I went downstairs to see Ray. "What was that sound" he asked. "Emma came threw the window instead of the front door like a normal human being." I replied "anyway why did you lock the doors" Ray asked me "I don't know Emma just told me to do so" as I was about to say something I heard glass break from Emma's Room. Before me and Ray could react we heard a scream. We rushed to open the door. We kept hearing Emma throwing books and screaming at someone to get out. We tried to break down the door but it was like some thing was cover it. we heard a bang like someone was thrown to the wall. Ray quickly tried to run at the door. Few moments later we heard a gun shot from inside the room. We heard another shatter and turn to see other men coming at us. Me and Ray tried to fight them but was caught of guard as we heard a blood curdling scream and another gun shot. Soon we got shot on the arm. Till we saw something running up and tearing the two men apart. After they ripped their every limb the quickly kicked the door opened but then got caught in a bear trap. 

We ran to see someone holding a knife at Emma neck. "ugh never trust people to get the job done why does this always happen!". "Can you just let me have the girl! its just so simple. Let me have the girl and your lives will be spared c'mon man its simple." me and Ray took one step . "I wouldn't do that if I were you. Don't you know how much money I can make from her!" "Why do you need her just pick another girl or something! Ray shouted. " what can a guy have his daughter back."
