{3rd pov}

nobara and megumi were by the vending machines. "couldn't they put in a few more vending machines?" the female said grabbing the drink.

"they can't. there are only so many workers who come in here" megumi said.

"huh? where are the first years?" panda said looking around as all three second-years.

"on errands and levi is with gojo-sensei" maki responded.

"bonito flakes" inumaki said.

"will they be ok?"

"salmon"

"they're not three years old. they can handle an errand run"

"bo, that's not what i mean. it's today, right? the day kyoto's principle comes. to go over the exchange event" the panda said.

"tuna"

"satoru's fighting with the higher-ups because they arranged for th first-years to get dispatched on th special-grade case, right? and the principal of kyoto is one of those higher-ups, isn't he? so if they run into each other..."

"the first-year they were targeting, itadori, is dead"

"then what about the other one?"

"don't know. it's still unknown but she died by losing an arm, her leg, and her stomach was wide open. levi's ear dropped of satoru's conversation and decided to tag along. but i doubt he has any plans to do anything about the other two. besides, the old man from kyoto won't cause a scene in broad daylight. especially if levi around, he did read about them" maki said.

"an instructor might have his position to worry about, but that's not the case for the students"

maki suddenly stopped walking and looked at the talking panda, "are you saying mai is coming?"

"it's just a guess. students aren't necessary for a meeting. but still...they love harassing us, right? both todo and mai"

"what are you doing here, zenin-senpai?" megumi said as both he and nobara looked and saw the students from kyoto.

the girl has mid-length dark green hair that reaches to her neck. she was wearing a sleeveless dress with a high collar, with a slit going down the side exposing her leg.

the male is tall and has a very defined muscular build. has black hair that is tied into a ponytail. his most noticeable feature is the large scar running down the left side of his face. wearing a purple shirt and the pants uniform with him holding into his uniform jacket.

"oh, she's one, too?" the orange-haired asked looking at him. "they do seem similar. are they sisters?"

"they're twins"

"don't call me that, fushiguro-kun. you make me sound the same as maki. call me mai" she winked at him and putting one hand on her cheek.

"so these are the pinch hitters for okkotsu and the third year's? huh? isn't there another first year?" the male mumbles the last part softly.

"we came here with the principal because we were about you. your classmates died, right? was that rough? or did you think nothing of it?" she teased.

nobara and megumi's first years got tense, megumi decided to be the first to speak.

"what are you trying to say?"

"it's okay. some things are hard to say out loud. so i'll say it for you. "vessel" makes it sound nice, but it just means he was half curse monster.
