"MUZAN HAS BEEN DEFEATED!!" one of the slayers cried, while akane and levi are on the ground slowly dying.

all the hashiras ran over to them, they all looked at them in shock, seeing their condition knowing they won't make it.

muichiro wanted to cry and hold them, he lost his family, and now he is losing his family once again.

giyuu didn't want to be alone again, he was finally being happy again, but it all gone now.

sanemu was yelling at them, 'don't die on us now, we are free!' then he looked at his lover, 'you promise me you'll marry me after this is all over' but they barely hear them.

gyomei was praying hoping they'll survive or be with their family once again, as his tears are running down.

mitsuri was crying, telling the others to help them.

obanai was yelling at them to 'suck it up' or 'don't die on us' while having tears in his eyes.

shinbou trying her best to help them, but she knows they won't make it. but she is willy to try since they saved her.

tanjiro, inosuke, zenitsu, nezuko, and genya are sobbing their eyes out, knowing they are going to die soon.

While eren, mikasa, and armin crying, since they lost them in their previous life and losing them again, knowing they treated them like a family.

"guys... please stop, we all know we aren't going to make it" akane said looking up at the sky, holding levi's hand tight.

"yea so stops crying you damn bastards," levi chickling a bit, akane chuckled and coughing out of the blood.

"hey, levi..." akane said, he looked at her, "yes, akane?" she looked at him with her eyes finally showing emotions.

"are we finally free?" she coughs out more blood, hoping they will be free for once, he got close to her, having their foreheads touching.

"we will akane, if we do, let's build that tea shop we always wanted to make, we can even have close to the ocean as well" she nodded, and levi repeating to her 'I love you so much'

they both moved away from each other and looked up at the morning sky, "giyuu, sanemi, muichiro, gyomei, misturi, obanai, shinbou, eren, mikasa, and armin" they all looked at akane, seeing a sad smile on her face.

"promise us, to keep on living and don't give up. tell the master and everyone back at headquarters. we are grateful and proud to work at the demon slayers corps, but sorry we didn't make it. but hey, we are all finally free, we don't have to worry about titans or demons anymore, we're finally free" akane said, looking up at the morning sky, as her breathing is slowly getting weak.
