"Dude oh my freaking- you won't believe what just happend!" I ran into the front door of Liza's apartment.

"What?! Dude, you're freaking me out!" She stopped in her tracks, setting down her bowl of noodles on the counter.

"Vinnie kissed me! He took me on a date at the skatepark and he kissed me!" My cheeks heated up and I felt myself smile.

"Dude you're smiling. He kissed you or you kissed him? Because he just texted me that you kissed him." She showed me the text from Vinnie.

"Oh my gosh he's a liar. He kissed me! I swear and i'm your cousin...you have to believe everything I say." I took a bite of her noodles.

"Okay whatever you say. Also your dad is gonna kill you when he see's that tattoo. Did vinnie convince you?" She smirked.

"No! I mean kinda but no! I've always wanted one. I just couldn't pull the trigger on it when the time came but he makes me feel like anything's possible." I blushed just talking about him.

"Gross! You're totally in love." She laughed at my big smile.

"I'm not in love Liz. I barely met him a couple days ago. I just enjoy being around him that's all." I sat down on her couch.

"So then what are you doing here if you like to be around vinnie?" She looked at me on the couch.

"Well I had to come tell you about it, guess he already beat me to the punch." I shook my head. I wasn't mad just disappointed that he told her first.

Liza held her bowl in her hands and sat down on the couch. "So, do you think there's a future for you and vinnie?"

"Um...I don't know. I guess that's a question for him. I think if he asked me out on more dates I wouldn't reject him but, part of me isn't sure if I want someone to care for me. I feel like everyone I love leaves...my mom, kenna, I mean do I want to risk losing him too?" I looked down at the ground.

"Kai, you can't always think that. Nobody is promised tomorrow. You can't live your whole life not wanting love. Vinnie's a good guy, and if you're this excited about kissing him, there's definitely something between you two." She scooped the noodles into her mouth.

"Ughhh. I hate when you give good advise." I moaned and groaned sliding down from the couch to the floor.

"Well if you didn't hear it from me, Kouvr or Mia would've let you hear it. Go, go get the boy!" She cheered.

"Okay fine!" I gave her a hug and kiss on the cheek. "Wait, why can't I stay here if you have a couch?"

"Because i'm not letting you sleep on my couch, a girl needs beauty sleep in a bed and boof and I share and I only have one bed right now." She explained to me.

"Liar. You just don't want me here!" I playfully stuck my tongue out while walking out her front door.

After a long uber later I made it back to the hype house. Alex was outside with his camera along with Thomas, Michael, Jake, and patrick. Usually I would never be nervous around a group of people but let's be real...it's the hype house boys, they're never up to anything good.

"Hey Kailah...remember when you said you did motocross?" Alex shyly asked me as I walked towards the front of the house.

"Um...yeah?" I crossed my arms over my chest.
