Prologue 8

Toby pov:

"Heheheh. . . . Don't you two have to be up to clean the school?" I heard a voice above me say.

"Unnn . . . Munayy . . . Five more minutes." Grim says, I open my eyes to see the ghosts from earlier.

"Oh, good morning!" I say, getting up and smiling at the ghosts.

"Morning!" The ghosts said, before turning to Grim.

"Laze about too long and you might never wake up, just like us!" The ghosts said, poking Grim.

"Fyaaam these ghost again!?" Grim exclaimed, getting ready to fire while I stopped him.

(Timeskip)

Third person pov:

"Are you going to be living here? You're gonna get pranked! Hehehe!" The ghosts laughed, Toby smiled gently giggling alongside them.

"Shoot. We'll get rid of you eventually!" Grim yelled.

"Good morning. Did you two sleep well?" Crowley asked, walking into the dorm.

"I was sprawled out then fell out bottom! Just how ramshackle did you let this place get!" Grim exclaimed.

"I slept well, thank you." Toby said, bowing.

"Then the ghosts woke me up, it's insane!" Grim continued.

"Don't be like that Grim." Toby said, hitting the cat's head lightly.

"Even though you just got tossed from another world you can still be kind, wonderful I came to speak to you about your work for today." Crowley said.

"Today you are going to clean the main campus." Crowley said.

Toby's eyes lit up, he may not look like it but Toby somewhat enjoy's cleaning due to one of his caretakers being a germaphobe.

" . . . But the main campus is quite large. Cleaning it all without magic is impossible." Crowley said, sweat dropping at Toby.

"So I'd like you to clean the main street to the main gate and library." Crowley continued, taking his gaze off of Toby.

"Understood?" Crowley asked, looking at both Grim and Toby.

"Yes sir." Toby said, adding the sir out of habit, while Grim just muttered a yes.

"Please watch Grim closely so he doesn't cause a scene like yesterday." Crowley said, turning his head to Toby.

"Hai!" Toby replied, saluting.

"I'm counting on you. You have permission to have lunch in the school cafeteria. Take care of your work enthusiastically." Crowley said.

"Tsk . . . No way I'm doing any cleaning." Grim grumbled.

(Timeskip)

"Tsk... No way I'm doing any cleaning. I wanna go to class and, bang! Boom boom boom! Use a bunch of awesome spells~" Grim said, doing some weird . . . Paw movement

"I can help you study in the library after cleaning." Toby said, petting Grim's head.

"Mahua . . . Fine." Grim grumbled, he couldn't understand why Toby was so kind to him.

A strange encounter

"Uwhha~ Amazing. So this is main street!" Grim exclaimed, while Toby chuckled at the cat.

"I didn't get a good look yesterday but what's with these statues? All seven of them look pretty scary." Grim said Toby looked over to see the statues and had to try not to laugh considering they were just disney villains.
