Jaden couldn't believe what she was seen floating down from the heavens. She knew of her because of Doctor G's lectures. She was Cupid's beautiful Butterfly Psyche. This could be no other. She talked before Psyche did.

"It is an honor dear Psyche to meet you finally."

Psyche gave the young woman an affectionate smile.

"So, you know who I am? By your eyes, I can tell you are the Lady of the Jade your name please?"

Jaden curtsied

"I am Jaden, and I am indeed the Lady of the Jade. I have read the stories about you and Cupid over and over; did you know people still weave your magic into their tales dear Psyche?"

Psyche smiled widened.

"Do they, now? I will have to tell this to Eros it might just knock his ego down a notch or two."

She began to laugh.

"I think we should get started I am to show you the secrets of your soul you have forgotten, and now must remember. Please follow me Jaden, and we will explore your past together."

Jaden took Psyche's hand and together they soared towards the past. To Psyche, they had traveled back an awfully long time. They traveled past the furthest point in time any of the others had traveled. Who was this girl? When they finally stopped, she was in disbelief. They had traveled to the ancient city of Atlantis. The young girl must have been Jaden in a previous life she was standing with Poseidon. Psyche was not supposed to interfere, She was supposed to let them discover their secrets themselves. But she had never fully overcome some of her human habits and curiosity was one of them. This girl was someone special she could tell but she could not place her among the mortals she would have known.

"Do you know where we are?"

Jaden shook her head no.

"Wherever it is there's no place like it on earth. It's beautiful."

Psyche snorted,

"You can say that again."

The two of them stood and watched as the history of the last few hours of the civilization of Atlantis played out right before their eyes. Jaden's eyes grew big. She remembered what was going on and where they were. Poseidon took his daughter and drew her away from him.

"It is a big sacrifice I ask of you my dearest most beloved daughter Alana. You must do this one thing for me. Zeus has ordered the destruction of Atlantis, and you have been chosen to use your unique gift and make sure Atlantis is no more than a legend."

A tear came to Alana's eyes.

"I will do as my uncle asks my beloved father, you can depend on me."

He wiped the tears from her eyes.

"Do not cry I cannot bear it."

She graced him with her beautiful smile.

"I am not crying because I will no longer be. But for the simple truth, I will never see you again."

He hugged her to him, Damn Zeus how could he destroy the only good thing the gods ever created?

"It will not be forever my dearest. I promise we will someday be together again."

She sniffled one last time and dried her eyes.

"Then I should not waste any time so we can be together once again. I love you father I do."

He gave her a kiss goodbye and disappeared back into the heavens. Alana began doing her duty. She sored to the tallest peak on Atlantis and raised her hands up to the heavens.
