They were all standing before Hades for their final test including Fir Darrig they all had a resolve about them all but Jaden. She looked sullen and as if the world was coming to an end. Hades walked over to Azakia and handed him the Garnet stone.
"You have passed the test of your past and are now able to go on in search of the rest of the stones."
He turned and faced the others
"It is my wish you all know your acceptance of Fir Darrig makes him one of your own, he has been given the honor by Souzousha of being a warrior of Kirin and will aid you in your quest. He must be treated like any member of this team should be addressed."
He looked over at Kazuki and then to Fir Darrig it is good to be wary, but if someone has come to your aid more than once, perhaps he should be trusted."
He walked over to Jaden.
"You are not to hold your past against yourself. We of this world must do as we are designed to do. Most of us do not have a choice, but we can always try to change the circumstance, and hopefully, we can modify the outcome. Destiny is not always written the gods do let a man have free choice. Work within your heart and actions to find what it is, you want and seize it. Do not think for one moment because of your past or your probable future you cannot live and be loved. Look at me; Persephone loves me, would you think a guy like me would be loved by someone so beautiful."
She smiled at him.
"That's a beautiful smile it belongs to a flesh and blood young woman, don't for a minute dwell on the past."
He went back up to his altar and took something off and carried it back to her. It was a trident
"Your father... wanted this to be your gift. Use it if you ever need him or the power it can wheel."
He handed her the trident,
"Now it is my prerogative to give me..."
He paused seeming unsure of what he was going to say.
"niece a gift."
His pauses confused her it was as if he wanted to say something else.
All heads turned towards her what did he mean. They would have to ask her later. Hades continued.
"You may have anything you want other than ending the war because that is the eleven of your duty. I cannot keep you from having to perform your duty if the gods demand it. But I can give you anything else just ask.
Jaden didn't have to think after he took away the two things that she would reasonably wish for. She smiled at her uncle who wasn't as horrible as history made him out to be.
"I want all of us and Jem to be back at the palace of Karoo. I would like that please."
He had a smile for her,
"Then that is what you shall have."
