status: currently free — summary: in which a girl meets a boy at a coffee shop that doubles as a book store and he falls in love so he does what he thinks is rational; stalk her.
notes: so genevieve is a criminology and law student at nyu, who's main goal is to become a public defender but she also has this love for writing books so she dreams of one day putting out a novel, so she also studies an elective of english literature.
her family is crazy wealthy and have made a name for themselves to a point where genevieve constantly meets celebrities whenever she goes home to see her parents, if they're ever there. she hates to speak about her family and her family wealth because that seems to be the only thing she's known for, but she wants to make a name for herself without having the roberts name attached.
her parents, anthony and maria work very hard, anthony is a famous judge in the law world and maria is a neurosurgeon and chief of her own hospital, she also owns a foundation called the roberts foundation which has helped open several more hospitals, she one day dreams of handing all this over to one of her kids.
genevieve also has two siblings, her older brother (24) called giovanni but goes by gio and he works as a microbiologist in one of his mothers hospitals and he actually has a girlfriend ariane lucrezia pierre, and she works as a nurse but is also studying to become a paediatric surgeon in the free hospital that she works, she is not in any way associated with the roberts foundation. they also live together and have a cat called smokey which they adopted. (another idea i had was to also make gio and ariane into a spin-off book when this first one is finished.)
genevieve's other sibling is giselle or elle for short (18) she is a senior in high school, a private high school of course and she is very accomplished for her age already she is the head cheerleader, president of the debate team and is also a straight a student, she also wants to study family medicine to become a family physician and work in one of the roberts foundation hospitals that are all over the united states, and even in canada!
giselle still lives with her parents although i guess not because they're basically never there anyway with her dad going on week long business trips and her mom leaving at the crack of dawn and returning way past midnight, the only time that they all are ever together in the same room is on a sunday which is family day — they go to lunch together and do another activity together before parting ways, and even then the parents are sometimes unable to show up.
so genevieve spends a lot of time with her friends, naomi, crimson, tamika and brendon, she also used to have a boyfriend who had a very bad past but is also a preppy rich boy called jackson hemingway, they occasionally hook up from time to time but since they split for the fourth time they have started a relationship again.
then we have the secondary character, adrien taddeo pierre (21) he works in the coffee shop / book store that genevieve frequents often, but in the coffee shop part, occasionally he will help tidy books up or ring people up when there's no one at the counter but that's about it, he also has a passion for writing and wants to write his own novel one day, which is why he attends a community college to study english literature.
his mother florentina "flor" pierre, runs a business of her own, she is the owner of a makeup brand that is widely popular in europe called flor. and adrien's father was never around because he abandoned them and left to go back to france to start a new relationship with some other woman, and adrien's mother was left to look after adrien and his twin sister, ariane all by herself.
adrien's sister, ariane works as a nurse at a free hospital and he knows that she is seeing someone who is italian but that's all he knows, he tries to keep in contact with her but it's very difficult with their busy schedules.
