A full moon glowing in the sky made a perfect environment to do something enjoyable now. A couple should go to a terrace & sit at the closest position of each other, the lady keeping her head on her guy's shoulder. Not a bad idea!
But not suitable for Jiya at all. Because, all she can do selecting from her favourites is, just sleeping to pass the horrible night & also drop the worst thoughts of her for a limited span of time.
Horrible? Yes, horrible. Jiya knows, just after some time, again she is going to experience so many new things. Visiting the past, dreaming about future, finding herself in an attic or a confined space.
Her fears as well as her prayers keep increasing as the night goes deeper. Well, it's not something unusual because Jiya faces this everyday but still she isn't habituated. Perhaps she will never be.
She can't endure this mental pressure of every night anymore. Thus, her decision of visiting the psychiatrist was made with enough courage but seems that she won't be able to discuss that ever living in this particular family. Now she wants to sleep for a bit, though she knows what exactly is going to occur.
Still, at least to get some rest, Jiya lies on the bed with heavy stress & intense fear. No doubt, having unwanted feelings the whole day will surely lead to tiredness which will make anyone go asleep as soon as one gets attached to his/her bed. Same issue happens with Jiya.Something like a sudden blast of a huge material creates a severe sound & Jiya wakes up in too hurry. Her eyes are looking so big as if she didn't sleep days or months properly. Those red marks encompassing her both eye balls & those black ones on the slim skin around her eyes are working like some alive proofs of this fact.
However, she can't see anything wrong around herself. Just can imagine & guesses someone coming towards her from back. Jiya is sweating as if she bathed just now. Doesn't want to but still she feels like turning around & check that person's presence.
She is yet hearing footsteps but doesn't notice anything even moving. Yes, the sound of those footsteps is getting louder... Something or someone is very close to her shivering body. She feels a light touch on her back & right shoulder with something coming closer and closer. Her heartbeats get 100 times faster than before and the deepest fear she ever had isn't even allowing her to take an action. She can neither turn, nor move. It can be considered as simply freezing not with cold, rather with fear & frequent heartbeats.
The sudden breathing sound & air shocks Jiya more.. though it's coming out like human breath, it is much cooler and blowing beside her ears. She is still sitting silent & feeling all those incidents happening with her every moment. That exhaling sound is taking a huge place in the closed room, her ears suddenly start getting numb, most probably they're not being able to bear that air anymore... Even Jiya feels her eyes going dull with much sweat & sleepiness.
In this moment, when she can't see even can't hear anything clearly, she listens someone whispering near her left ear.. Without sound, just with some blowing air... Slowly, in a very low & weak voice..
"Jiyaaa..."
Now Jiya's fear itself wants to turn round and see the noise creator on its own, without delaying.
Jiya moves her head to turn & slightly turning... turning.... turning.....
The moment she turns, something almost like a human gets vanished from her back, Jiya can't wait anymore and on a sudden!...Jiya's sleep gets interrupted! She wakes up in heavy anxiety, headache, even having pain inside her chest. Perhaps, in the middle of the left part of her body, where our hearts are placed.
She gets up as fast as possible and runs towards her table, with terrible thirst for water. She is shivering from her head to toes, just like a machine, getting worse due to not having enough charge.
At the fastest speed of her, she pours water in her glass from the jug, dropping the most, on the table surface. Her hands are even unable to hold the glass well, Jiya wets herself for her hands trembling. After drinking a lot of water, she feels quite better but breaths heavily and anxiety is almost killing her!
She can't control herself from doing it & jumps to search her drawer for painkiller medicines. She gets them out & swallows one very quickly to feel a bit free from anxiety.
She is nowadays habituated in taking painkillers regularly. Her everyday stress got only this one solution to solve although she knows it has side effects more than good results.*[No negativity or these kinds of acts are encouraged by this part, it's just a track of my own written story. All are requested to never apply these in real lives!]*
Now Jiya wants to sleep again as she understands that her dream was just replaced with the reality, which terrifies her so much whenever she faces this.
Going closer to bed, she notices a folded piece of paper with the blue pen she kept on the bedside table before going to sleep.Jiya opens the paper curiously to see what's inside. Opening it, her mind gets completely unbalanced to read only one statement written on the paper.
"Someone different is coming in your life."
She can't understand anything & feels too sick so goes to sleep thinking How did the paper come to her? who the person can be coming in her life according to the paper?
Paras was sleeping in his room peacefully but he wakes up, noticing that his mind is having a heavy pressure of a thought. At that moment, first he remembers Jiya's face, wearing that brown suit. He treats many patients everyday but with Jiya, he feels a different kind of connection, that obliges him to think of her all the time.
But why now? Why is he thinking about Jiya at midnight in this way?
That was all... Thanks for reading!
(Next part- Paras to shift near Jiya's residence.)
Will try to publish next part soon😄
