Hey guys! It's been forever! Over the summer I found this show Hawaii  Five O and I'm addicted to it. I'm a huge Mcdanno shipper so I decided to make one shots. Don't worry Solangelo fans I'm still making one shots for them but I decided to make this because why not? Steve and Danny are so cute together. Scalex is basically Scott and Alex. Anyways, hope you enjoy!-Was

Steve smiled at Danny, "Book'em Danno."

Danny rolled his eyes and placed handcuffs on their suspect. "Next time don't go jumping off buildings to catch a suspect, got it? You could've broken something."

Steve stopped at a red light, "Sure thing anything for my partner."

Danny sighed, "Sometimes I wish you weren't so sarcastic."

"Oh, I'm not being sarcastic. I meant that."

"Really so no jumping off buildings?" 

"I didn't say that."

"You just said 'anything for my partner'."

"Yeah it that doesn't mean I'm going to stop doing my job."

"I'm not asking you to stop doing your job, I'm saying to do it less dangerously."

Steve sighed, "Okay. Okay. I'll try not to do a lot of dangerous stuff."

"Thank you." Danny said with a heavy sigh.

"Why do I feel like you take in a lot of air before coming around me? Specifically when we're in the car?" Steve asked.

"Probably because I know I have to get ready for an argument," Danny said.

"I don't want you to feel that way, Danny. I want you to feel like you can talk to me and feel comfortable around me." Steve said gripping the wheel.

Danny raised an eyebrow, "Why so soft all of a sudden?"

Steve stared straight ahead, "I'm just saying I don't want you to feel tense and stressed around me."

"Wait, wait. What are you talking about? I am comfortable around you, I trust and love you. I literally tell you about my life if I wasn't comfortable around you I wouldn't tell you any personal stuff. And yes you make me so stressed out but that's not your fault it's mine because I think too much. I'm always worried that you'll do something way over the top and won't make it out. God, I even worry that you'll actually listen to me about your health and retire or something. And the only reason I tell you that is one because I'm really worried about you and two because I like yelling and arguing with you. I know that seems weird but really it's kind of like our... thing. And I don't like things changing." 

Steve looked over, "So you are okay with hanging out with me?"

Danny rolled his eyes, "Yes, you idiot. Why would you think I wouldn't?"

Steve shifted uncomfortably, "You didn't call or text in 2 days."

Danny looked shocked, "Really? I've been away longer than that and your worried I don't like you anymore over 2 days?" 

"Look, you've been more closer to me the past month or so and it felt... weird."

Danny laughed, "Don't worry buddy I'm not going anywhere."

Steve smiled, "I was hoping you'd say that."
