CHAPTER 11

*Xyla's POV*

"There is no training today, with the announcement and rank changes tomorrow it would be pointless to drag you two in with me," that's the text message I received from the Theta this morning. I wish she would have told us this yesterday before I woke up at 6 in the morning for nothing. However, since I'm already showered and dressed, I might as while go down to watch Matt's first day of training.

I took out my phone and called Teagon, she didn't pick up so I called her again.

"Hello," she answered sounding a bit anxious.
"Hey, you ok," I asked.
"Yea it's just Matt's first day you know and a lot of the Etas like to tease," she said with a sigh.
She was right, the Etas tease all new Etas but most of the Etas only tease for the first week - anything longer than that is just bullying.
"Were you going down to watch," I asked?
"Yea, I want to know who's training him," she said, I could hear her telling Matt to close the door.
"Is it cool if I come too," I don't really have to ask but I want to be respectful so I did anyway.
"Of course, we're getting in the car now," she said as I heard a car door close.
"Alright I'll meet you guys there," I said walking to my door.
"Okay cya," she said before hanging up the phone.

I walked out of my room and headed to the stairs, I walked down the two flights and walked toward the kitchen where most of the Etas would be right now. As I approached the kitchen I heard blenders going off, cabinets being slammed, and laughs that sounded more like roars to me.

I walked into the kitchen and scanned the room for either of my brothers.

"They're already out on the field," someone said from my right, I turned my head to see who it was.
Ethan, a tall statue of manners that drives shewolfs crazy. His also the son of the beta and Theta, knowing his parents I don't know where he gets his manners from.

"I could walk you out if you'd like," he said with a smile.
"I'm fine on my own but thank you," I said giving him a smile before walking to the back door of the kitchen.

"Don't know if you want to be here today, the Aphla's coming down today," someone said to me as I walked through the kitchen. I ignored him and opened the door to outside, Chase and James were on the side of the building sitting on the grass. I walked over and sat between them, "why are you guys out so early."

"Alphas order," Chase said shrugging his shoulders.

"Then where is he," I said looking around, there were wolfs stretching out farther in the grass and some sitting on the grass like us but no Alpha.

"Who knows," chase said taking a sip of his smoothie.

"Where are you guys," Teagon mind linked me.
"Are you inside the pack house," I asked her.
I don't know why I even asked since she has to be within a certain amount of meters to even mindlink me.
"Yea but I haven't gone down anyway hallways or any stairs where do I go," she asked.

"Who are you mind linking," James asked nudging me with his shoulder.
"Just Teagon," I said.
"Why's she here," chase asked confusingly.

"Xy," Teagon said through the mind link.

"Shh I have to respond to her," I said to the boys.

"Right sorry," I said before telling her exactly where to go, "go down the main hallway straight ahead, take the first hallway to your left keep walking until you see a big archway which is the dining room," I continued.
