"Bonnie, I've been thinking," Kieran says from his place on the couch, where he's playing on his ps5.
Sophie looks up from her laptop. "Oh no I don't like the sound of that. Are you breaking up with me?" she asks worried.
Kieran stands up and walks over. "No, not at all," he assures her. He would never think about breaking up with this girl. She's all he's ever dreamed of. "I've been thinking about our living arrangements. You know with Mari going through ivf and maybe having a baby. Don't you think it'll get a bit crowdy at your place?"
"Yeah maybe, what are you hinting at Kiki?" she frowns.
"Well we've been together for almost a year now and you spend a lot of time over here. What do you think about moving in with me officially?" Kieran asks while fidgeting with fingers. He tends to do that when he gets nervous, which doesn't happen very often.
Sophie can feel herself smiling. She gets up from the chair and pulls him in a hug. "Yes of course Kiki. I'd love too!" she exclaims. "So when are we doing this?"
"When I get back from the Euros? Then you'll have some time to pack and spend some time with Mari," Kieran answers.
Sophie nods in agreement. "I can't wait," she smiles. "But first you have to go and smash it at the Euros."
Kieran pulls her closer and plants a little peck on her lips. "I'll miss you, Fifi. Too bad you can't tag along to Scotland."
"Well I've a job to do, but I'll see you when you're playing England. I'll even break the rules and wear your shirt," Sophie grins.
"You better be," Kieran says. "But now go finish your work, so we can have a proper last night together," he winks and gives a little tap on her bum.
