*Kit's POV*
Morning light cracked through the part in the blinds leading to Kit's bedroom. Groaning, Kit rolled over, content to lay in the blankets a little while longer.
But when he felt only warm comforter and no Ty Kit bolted upright. Causing a massive headache and everything to flash black.
Not minding his lack of vision Kit rolled out of bed, finding his way to the door by memory.
Still with spots dancing in his eyes Kit stumbled down the stairs and into the kitchen. To find Ty standing in front of the stove frying something in a pan.
Kit was instently assaulted by two things:
1- the heavenly smell of bacon.
And 2 - Ty was shirtless.
Kit's mind backfired at one of them.
"Um," he coughed awkwardly, "Hi." Ty turned around calmly, probably having heard Kit's excursion coming down the stairs.
He was smiling. The smile that would break across his face like the sun rising in the morning.
But that smile instently slipped to one of embarrassment and shock.
That was when Kit realized he lacked important clothing.
Oops.
At least Ty had remembered to put pants on. Kit hadn't remembered even that.
"Ca-can you put pants on." Ty stumbled over his words, even more so then Kit had stumbled down the stairs.
"Don't like what you see?" Ty's eyes stayed fixed on Kit's collarbone, determined not to look elsewhere. He frowned, his eyebrows creasing together.
"It will distract me." Now Kit was blushing as well.
He nodded.
"Makes sense." And went to put some pants on.
When he came back Ty was still at the stove, working on scrambled eggs now. Kit sidled up to him. Wrapping his arms around his boyfriend's waist.
"I forgot to say good morning." Kit mumbled into Ty's neck, letting his lips brush around the delicate skin there.
Ty frowned, turning to face Kit.
"It's not morning, Kit. It's one in the afternoon." Kit's eyes widened.
"Then why are you making breakfast?" Ty flushed in confusion.
"Because I thought that is what your supposed to do after you're intimate with your partner. I read it in a book once. Was I wrong?" Kit grinned. Enjoying the reminder of his and Ty's activities last night.
"No, no, it's fine Ty. I was just wondering."
"Besides," Ty added, "It's lunch, not breakfast, it's in the afternoon and when you have lunch. So it's lunch." Kit smiled, wrapping his arms tighter around Ty's body.
"That's true." A pause in which Ty turned back to the cooking eggs.
"What are you making?" Kit asked, though he knew very much what. He just wanted Ty to say it.
Well, he actually just wanted to hear Ty's voice again. . .
"Scrambled eggs. This is how you make them." Kit smiled against Ty's bare shoulder.
"Ty, that's not only how you make eggs, that's just how you like them." Ty frowned, but not in confusion this time. Kit had upset him. Kit's eyes widened in panic.
Great, he thought, I messed this up already.
"I . . . um." Ty stumbled over his words. Clearly panicking as much as Kit was.
Kit gently smiled at his boyfriend. Tracing calming circles on his lower back.
"Hey, Ty, it's okay. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you." They stayed like that, Ty making the eggs while Kit rubbed circles on his back. Comforting him.
"I don't want you to be mad," Ty started, "I can make the scrambled eggs again, if you want." Kit stared at him, letting Ty finish knowing how he disliked being interupted. Then he grinned.
"It's okay, I like them that way to." Ty smiled as well then.
"Good." Then he pulled away to set the table for lunch.
