"Go to your partners." The teacher said and everyone was standing going to their partners.

Y/n looked as their class president came immediately to Asahi as soon as the teacher said so.

"Let's partner up, you don't have a partner right?" Jaehyuk asked.

Y/n looked at Asahi then to Jaehyuk.

"Fine, but all I can say I'm not good with any of this, you should think wisely when choosing your partner." She said wanting to challenge the new guy off.

"Don't worry I'll top this report off if you want to." Jaehyuk chimed looking at her.

Jaehyuk looked very confident when he said that making Y/n think hard.

Thinking about a transferee could beat Asahi made Y/n chuckle no one in class could beat Asahi.

"Sure, If you could get a perfect score, then I'll treat you to lunch later, if you don't you're the one who's gonna treat me" Y/n said.

Jaehyuk can read her like an open book, He knows she's doubting him. But nonetheless  he's up for the challenge.

"I'll accept that." Jaehyuk said smiling at her.

Y/n only looked at him returning the same facial expression. What she didn't know Asahi was looking at her from afar.

"Asahi, What do you think about this?" The class president asked looking at Asahi who was a bit distracted. Asahi looked at her part looking pleased.

"That's good." He said shortly also doing his part of the work.

For the other side Jaehyuk was writing like it's a simple task, He had also took Y/n's part of work since he was done with his.

"Do you need any help?" Y/n asked guilty for letting him do it all.

"I'm almost done." Jaehyuk said finishing his writing off with a period at the end.

"Done!"He said happily. Y/n only checked his works and he sure had a nice hand writing.

You admit he really had a nice hand writing, and you were amazed by how everything looks organized. But nonetheless you weren't fooled by the appearance.

"I told you already it's hard for you to top this." You only sighed still bitter at the reality that Asahi chose someone as his new partner.

"You shouldn't be worrying about that now, you should be worrying about your money." Jaehyuk said smiling at her.

"Sure think that all you want." Y/n said while placing her face in her palm.

Everyone was done on doing their task and were passing all their works for the teacher to check. Y/n was bored waiting for the results and she was doodling on her notes.

"That looks kinda cute." Jaehyuk said tilting her notebook to get a better look.

"Really? Y/n asked and Jaehyuk nodded his head immediately.

A intentional cough has been heard infront of them so they both had look front.

"I suppose I have something to say here." The teacher said looking unhappy.

Everyone turned their heads to have a look at them, Y/n already knew how this goes since this wasn't the first time the same teacher had scolded her. And she was ready for it to come lowering her head down.

Jaehyuk was so confused he also did the same thing like Y/n did out of respect.

"Congrats, you two actually had the highest score, Perfect. Keep it up!" The teacher said putting our papers on our desk and proceeded to give everyone theirs.

Y/n was shocked not because of how she got the score, but because of Jaehyuk really kept his word even though he just transferred recently and was not here during the lessons.

"I told you!" Jaehyuk said proving his point.

"And for the second highest score we have Mr. Hamada and Ms. Kim." The teacher said happily distributing their papers.

Y/n looked at Asahi and it seems like Asahi was comparing his papers to Yuri, The class president.

"I'm sorry, I got one word wrong spelled and it deducted one score." Yuri said.

"It's fine." Asahi said blankly but he was really disappointed inside since this was the first time someone had did more than him.

Asahi look to the other side of the room to see Jaehyuk happily teasing Y/n while Y/n looked utterly stressed out pinching the bridge of her nose.
