"Jack is a drawer. An artist even. He sees the beauty in things that go underestimated, underrated, and overlooked. He's a dreamer. I'm a dreamer. You, you are a man blinded by his own wealth and fortune. You're materialistic without even realizing it! You do know that not everything needs to be bought right? And love, love is another story. You can't stop love even if you tried, arranged or not, it's love. Have you ever even tried to live life outside of luxury? Taken risks?"

He takes in this new information surprisingly, actually considering the words that had spewed so naturally and from the heart. After a moment of silence, he finally answers, whispering, "No, no I haven't." He finishes his sentence, now looking at me, staring into my eyes, the loneliness and uncertainty evident.

I almost feel bad for him, considering the fact that I don't know him either. He probably never had the chance to be a kid, reckless and free, dumb and crazy. With that thought, I quickly ask him, "Want me to show you?"

Now we continue...

<3rd Person Perspective>

The pair sit in silence. It was almost suffocating with how quiet and embarrassing the situation had seemed. Y/N had asked the question in the heat of the moment, a quick question that never quite registered in her mind before she spewed it. Now she sits quietly, a tint to her cheeks, with everything around her now evidently more interesting than the man beside her. For Cal, the question was quite offending to say the least. The way the woman had described a thrill seemed amazing, like it was something he never experienced. He didn't understand what could possibly be better than money, no matter what anyone says is better being free. Maybe he was materialistic. But he was happy?

"What could possibly be so thrilling if it isn't bought? To me, it is the most absurd thing I've ever heard," he finally speaks, followed by a dry laugh, catching Y/N's attention quietly.

"We if I must say, not to overstep our boundaries sir, but your an ass to judge things you have never done personally. It is neither the same in perspective nor is it anymore correct than if it were another person with the same mindset disagreeing with you. You don't have the facts nor the personal experience to deny or support your claim. It's simply untrue."

The space between the pair quickly grow quiet again, this time not so much an embarrassing silence, but more a tense silence full of questions and strong beliefs on both ends of argument. If Cal was to be honest with himself, she holds her own quite well, not letting him belittle her in the way he had intended. This makes him think that what she may be saying may possibly be true, may be something one of a kind, and that's what finally led him to his decision. "If what your babbling about is what you claim it is, then I would like to take you up on your offer."

Y/N's face instantly lights up, emitting such a broad smile, brightening up her face underneath the pale moonlight. It was a striking sight, someone so utterly excited, like a kid in a candy store. Y/N was about to jump up and down with his acceptance, but instead, settled for a firm handshake of promise. Cal smiles and returns the handshake, quickly being lifted off his seat on the bench immediately after, with not a second to waste. Cal could see Y/N's happiness, making him snicker at such a mindless behavior.

To him, this was just something that was going to waste his time, but to Y/N, it was something extravagant. It's not everyday that you get to let loose and show someone something they've never seen. Y/N always enjoyed the look of disbelief and sheer excitement when opening them up to something new. It was like giving someone a gift for their birthday, or a present on a day not important at all. Either way, she couldn't wait, knowing exactly where to start.
