As the two move in closer, just merely a breath away, Y/N's heartbeat pounds in her ears, making her wondering if Cal could hear just how loud it was right now. Just as they go to lean in, a security member comes out, flashing a bright beam from his flashlight into the pair's eyes. "Sorry to bother you, we were just informed of a scream and came to check it out. I'll be on my way now, goodnight!"

Laughing, Y/N leads Cal to the entrance, leading him to his next mystery.

Now we continue...

<3rd Person Perspective>

Taking Cal's arm within her own, Y/N leads him to her last destination. It was against anything Cal's ever been taught, the same applying to her, only she had just learned the life of the royals. Nearing the double doors, Y/N steps behind Cal, covering his eyes with her hands, temporarily blinding him. All he does is smile as he has come to know Y/N's playful nature by heart now, having soaked in every detail about her throughout the hours of the long day they've spent together, growing more of a stronger attachment to her than he ever has with Rose, her mother, or any woman he's had before.

"Now, when I remove my hands, I still want you to close your eyes. Is that understood, Mr. Hockley?" Y/N says in a mockingly stern tone, as if she were superior than him.

Nodding his head, he does as she tells him, keeping his eyes closed even after Y/N's delicate hands leave his soft face. Lightly, she tugs at Cal's jacket, pulling it off, moving to do the same with his shoes and socks underneath. She removes her own shoes as well, undoing her hair from the intricate yet simple hairdo she has placed to keep her h/l hair out of her face. In one swift moment of time, she tells Cal, "Hold your breath," not giving him the time to question her as she shoves him into the pool right beside their figures.

Gasping, Cal emerges from the cool water instantly, a strike of what felt like electricity coursing through his veins, something he's never felt before; laughing a hearty, full body laugh that Y/N's never heard before. The deep rumbling and utter naturalism of it stealing a laugh of her own. "You. You are much more than you look you know," Cal states breathlessly, still chuckling lightly.

"I know, but that's what makes things interesting. More fun, if you ask me," Y/N answers lightly, splashing some water from the edge of the pool at him.

"Oh, your going to regret that," Cal answers, wiping his face off once more. Eyes growing darker, Cal walks to the nearest edge, hefting himself back out of the water, only goal now being trained on payback.

Y/N squeals instantly, running around to the opposite end of the pool, continuing to do so as Cal chases her about, the two laughing as the chase continues. Y/N slips at one point, falling on her ass, laughing harder now as her lungs beg for air. From the laughing or the exertion, maybe even a bit of both. Either way, Y/N gets back up weakly, stumbling about as Cal finally catches up with her. Grabbing her by the waist tightly, Cal yanks Y/N into the cool blue water with him once more.

Y/N squeaks at the temperature of the water, but all in good fun, for Cal isn't done with her yet, assaulting her with splashes of water, starting another war. Again, they fight to be the better victor, acting as adult children as they decide splashing just isn't good enough, moving to dunking and pushing each other around. The two being so lost in each other.

With adrenaline coursing through their veins, Y/N goes to push Cal's shoulders once more, but abruptly stops as he instead, moves to pull Y/N into him. The same he had done on the ship's deck a few hours ago. Looking into her eyes, they both feel a spark now, Y/N moving to rest her arms around Cal's neck, him reciprocating by moving his own to encase her waist.
