It's been a long and grueling...however many hours it's been but I've finally done it. It was basically like taking stock, cataloging everything by name and what it does. Though I did sort of pocket a shard of light, it looked nice enough, so I decided to take it for a job well done. Seeing as how I had gotten everything done, I made my way back to the main room. It was sort of a harder task than anything seeing as how it was such an expansive hallway with doors lining the walls for both sides. I tried my luck and opened the first door I saw and what I saw was what looked like a giant mound of flesh with some eyes here and there, small deformed arms and legs, and a few teeth sprinkled around. I only had to blink before I realized that I was getting sick at this sight and closed the door, taking a moment to reset and move on.
The next few doors I opened were as followed. A fjord with a lion running towards the open door, a giant scorpion/human monster in a sand storm, another desert with a giant faceless humanoid only with it's upper half dragging itself around the sand while a small house was near it, the sitting room, a poker game with dogs-nice, and... oh wait, go back. I saw that Constantine was about to head out of the house, when I told him that I had finished sorting and cataloging, all he had to say to me was good job but now I had to stay put.
"Wait where are you going?"
"It doesn't matter, just do as I say, it'll be safer that way, Orchid, make sure to keep him here" Orchid nodded and John went out of the house. The door closed slow enough to show that we weren't exactly in a forest anymore, somewhere else in fact with what looked like a house with a giant eyeball that looked just as rundown as this one I tried to get a better look, but the door closed all the way. I tried to open it but the door was locked. I wanna go, I wanna explore. Ever since I discovered the existence of magic, I had an itch of adventure and I think Orchid noticed it. At that moment the door had opened.
"Oh no, looks like I left the door unlocked, oh well, there is no helping it now, I just hope that (Y/n) doesn't leave now that my back is turned " Shouldn't she be listening to John, who's the owner of the house? Best not to question it. In fact the one question I should be asking is how she knew my name, since I never told her. That should be another time. I get out of the house and there it is, the house with a giant eyeball. That was a little wordy; I'll just call it the eyeball house. It was surrounded by weird trees that I haven't seen before and attached to the back was what looked like part of a castles ruins. Doing my best to be as stealthy as possible, I crept up to the door and tried to get a listen on what was going on in there.
"Halt intruder, what's the password."
"AAHH."
A few minutes ago.
I tried to knocked on the door of...her...house. Eda the owl lady, but the bird face on the door wanted a password.
"What's the password?" I wasn't really in the mood to play games with it.
"Sod off and open up tweedy bird or I'll scorch this place." I had said holding up my hand with a flame engulfing it.
"Jeez, why are people so rude today," the bird started to open it's mouth as I extinguished the flame and I stepped into the home of my regrettably only friend right now and saw that she was standing right in front of me, she hasn't really changed from these past few years with her pale skin, golden fang, pendant, and ring, red dress, and giant gray hair. But what really caught my eye was who was standing behind her. A little witch girl, scratch that, a human girl. I only had to give Eda a look to even ask what she was doing with a human. This really felt like deja vu now. The little girl behind Eda was a little Latina girl wearing a blue and white short sleeve, with shorts and leggings under them, and low top lace less converse. Her hair was a short wavy cut colored brown, and her eyes the same color.
