Due to the incident yesterday, I had to purchase myself a new backpack. Something I know she won't ever buy. This new one that I have suits my style more than the one I had the day before. I'm positive that Yuri also got herself a new backpack.

My new one falls in the  very light shade of sea blue. The zippers are in the shape of a heart. There is a medium sized pocket in the front, designed with a belt, and a little zipper line above it. The saleslady gave me a free brown teddy bear keychain in the size of my hand, wearing a giant pink bow, for purchasing the bag. I decided to attach it on my bag. It was very cute.

The Kwon-Song siblings were once a huge part of my life. Throughout my childhood years, they were present. I had my sister to play with before them, but she wasn't very active. My little sister had to stay in her room. She had a poor condition; she was awfully sick. She couldn't go outside to play frequently. "Everything in her room is all that she will ever need." That's what my parents told me. Krystal is always lying in bed. Our family doctor would come in and out of her room on a regular basis. When I was ten, her condition became severe. My parents decided to take her to the States to get her medical treatment. Our family doctor said that it was the best option we have. And so, to the United States they went. My parents occasionally took Krystal home or my parents would be the one taking me there. I considered myself as an only child after years of loneliness as a child. My parents knew that if they had to leave, one of them had to stay behind. But none of them did. I had Mr. Ji, our housekeeper, and the Kwon-Song siblings, therefore I grew up with just them. Mrs. Song and my mom are friends. I think I was around four or five years old when I asked my mom why Yuri and Joongki-oppa had a different surname. I was young and curious. I didn't know that it was a sensitive topic. My mom had told me that not long before I was born, Mrs. Song and Mr. Song had a divorce. Joongki-oppa was very young, and Yuri wasn't born yet. Mrs. Song remarried not long after to Mr. Kwon, and after, Yuri was born. Yuri, Joongki-oppa, and I would play when school was over, and on weekends, we would spend all day playing in the park or at each other's houses. Yuri was my best friend. We only had each other. We were like two peas in a pod. But I have to say that I was a lot closer to Joongki-oppa. On most days, Yuri wouldn't have time to play with us due to her tutoring. Joongki-oppa and I would play without Yuri. It was fun even without her. A bond was created between us. Joongki-oppa and I had secrets that Yuri knows nothing of. Kwangsoo-oppa would sometimes tag along and the three of us would play all together. Yuri would join us whenever her tutoring was over. It's crazy how I nostalgically remember these. These memories that happened ages ago. I just know that one morning I came to school, everything completely changed. No one in Seoul Academy would believe my story if I tell them. The only ones who knows our story are my friends, probably her's, Kwangsoo-oppa and her older brother. But the only one who knows the whole story is Yuri herself.

"I want you guys to be completely honest with me."

Hyoyeon and I nod at the same time.
