Hinata's POV
I can't believe Naruto's nerve. If I had known he'd dare to kiss me like that I would've ran away sooner. This guy can't take a hint but I think what I'm about to do may do the trick. And I hit the road.
Naruto's POV
"Naruto? Oh, there you are!" Asami ran to me from the school building. "Are you okay?"
"Never been better." I answered with a foolish smile. Actually, my words weren't too far from the truth. I got to beat a douchebag and I kissed Hinata.
"I was so worried! Don't do that. Ever. Again!" The girl opposite me said aggressively pocking my chest with her pointing finger.
"I'm fine Asami" I put her hand away. "I'll get going now, better return to class."
Instead of heading back she smiled sweetly. "No, I'm coming with you! I already talked to the teachers." She took my hand in hers and led me to the car.

"Naruto! Get out of that room already!" My mom shouted from downstairs. Five seconds later I could hear her steps and by the sound of it she lost her patience. "I told you to get your ass dow-" She bursted into my room.
We locked eyes and my mom instantly softened her tone.
"Oh, darling, why aren't you getting ready? What's wrong?" She sat beside me on the king sized bed.
"N-Nothing."
"Why are you crying then?" She inquired.
"Am not."
"If it's because I ate your pudding you have just said-" My mom stopped and brushed a tear away. "But why do I get the feeling it's something else?"
"Hinata..We broke up, mom!" Choking back my tears I replied.
She then hugged me and stroke my back gently.
Mom spoke after a few moments. "Frankly, darling, me and your father kind of figured it out already. I am here for you, we both are. You can tell me what's going on. Or not, I can just sit here and listen. If you need more space that's okay too. Either way it is totally fine as long as you know we've got your back. I wish you could rely on us a bit more."
I finally returned the hug. Mom and dad were always too busy being the famous people they are. Whether they liked it or not, and it's not only like that for them but for me too, they were always put under the spotlight. Having a public relationship like theirs is hard and most of the times they would return home tired from putting on a facade for the medias. I tried to make it easier for them and would often hide my struggles behind a smile when they're around. That's how I grew more and more uncomfortable to tell them about what's going on.
Having said that, I still wanted their attention. So I found ways to gain it. Not acceptable ways. However, we moved on from that after a few months of therapy. My therapist helped me realize I want to be independent and make a name for myself, not just be recognized as the great Minato's son.
"Mom, I'm gonna win her back!"
"I know you will." She let go of me and looked me in the eyes. "And I think our dinner with the Hyuga's today will be one great way to start." Then mom got up and left the room.
