The Youngest Squad Member

It was already night after we entered the base it was beautiful it was built like a house and camp combined with large curtains, a storage area where weapons were to be stored and repaired, and individual rooms each with its own unique theme for each squad member Nanaue's was based on a beach and ocean I think it suited him nicely. 

All the squad members had already beat us to camp not like it was a race or anything. As Nanaue sat me down, I knew the look on everyone's faces was telling me to explain myself and how I got here their looks also told me why a teenager would be part of a league of supervillains that risk their lives to save the world.

"Alright so um" I began feeling a bit of embarrassment as I kicked a small pebble "I'm Joselyn and a supervillain even though I may not seem like it." I was silent for a few moments before continuing "I am now known as the Shifter reason being is this", as I pointed to a large black watched fixed to my wrist "I was subject to cruel undescribable experiments this watch was painfully inserted through my wrist and attached to my DNA gaining me the ability to shapeshift into various humanoid animals I can also become a shark just like my brother here" I said patting Nanaue on his shoulder.  There were a few moments of silence before Bloodsport, unsurprisingly, spoke up. He hesitated before saying "Nanaue... is your brother?" I looked at him and nodded "It's complicated," as I began the long story.

After the story, the Squad(Bloodsport included) were awestruck and surprised by my story seeing as I was human(kind of) and not a full shark. I could sense Bloodsport's regret for calling me a kid earlier I myself could see it all this time I thought we would be sworn, enemies but instead, we quickly became good friends "I'm....sorry for" he was caught off by me "I know, You don't need to apologize I get it " I replied we each placed our hand on each other's shoulder symbolizing our new friendship. Harley Quinn smiles and places her hand on my shoulder eagerly showing her childish, girly, sweet side "I'm so proud of him" she said almost like a mother would congratulate her child "I think he should be part of the Squad" she said happily.

I smiled my heart slowly racing in excitement each member of the squad looked at each other and nodded. It was official I would be the youngest member of the Suicide Squad. 

I made friends with the rest of the Suicide Squad soon after. Cleo, Rick Flag, Peacemaker, and Polka Dot man, and I began to form a bond like classmates in a new school despite me being only a teenager, we all became good friends I smiled happily becoming one with the Suicide Squad.
