AN: So I've decided to cut the story into chapters cause this turned out to be a lot longer than i originally planned. Hope you guys enjoy the story.
The next day I went back to the café hoping to have another interesting talk with Olivia. And just my luck as I walked into the café, she was already there in her corner drinking her hot chocolate and reading a book.
I walked up to the cashier and found a new barista on duty.
"Hello, my name is Shonu, welcome to The Friendly Café."
"Hi, is Angie not here today?" I asked.
"Oh, you know Angie. I've never seen you here before."
"Um yeah, I just found this place yesterday."
"Oooo that's nice, so what drink would you like?"
"I'll have a hot chocolate."
"Ok then," She typed in my order into the cashier and shouted to the other barista that's working, "Beef, one hot chocolate." "OK" she shouted back.
"Her- she's called Beef?" I asked in disbelief.
"Well, you know how some of us here aren't comfortable with using our real names so she opted to use the name beef."
I had nothing to say that I guess when they said to think of any nickname to call yourself, they really meant anything would do.I grabbed my drink and headed to where Olivia was sitting.
She didn't seem to notice me sitting down next to her, invested in her book trapped in her own world. I decided to just let her enjoy her reading as I sip my hot chocolate waiting for her to notice.
It took about 10 minutes to finally put down her book and she nearly fell out of her seat when she noticed me sitting there.
"Stitch! How long have you been sitting there?" She asked blushing.
"I've been here about 10 minutes, but I didn't wanna disturb your reading." I chuckled.
Just as she was about to reply, Angie came by. She looked between Olivia and I looking like she was surprised that we were getting along.
"Stitch, I see you're getting yourself comfortable with the people around here fairly quickly." She said.
I felt my face getting pretty red while Olivia laughed at me. I tried to glare at her, but my red face probably made it less threatening than It looked and the way she looked when she smiled was so contagious I couldn't help but smile as well.
"Well hello Angie, Stitch here and I had a pretty fun chat yesterday about books." Olivia answered for me.
I gave her a thankful smile and she returned it with her own cute little smile.
Angie watched this interaction with a raised eyebrow and a sly little smile on her face. I was a little scared on what she was thinking but she just said, "Well hope you two have a good day." And proceeded to run of to the back room.
Olivia and I looked at each other and laughed, we started chatting about the books we were reading when she decided to ask me about myself.
"So, Stitch, we didn't really get to know each other well yesterday." I got nervous about what she might want to know about me. "Don't worry I won't ask anything too personal." She giggled.
"What do you want to know about me then?"
"Well for starters, do you have any siblings?"
"Yes, I do, I have an older brother and older sister. They've both moved out already however so I'm basically alone at this point. How about you, do you have any?"
