So basically I was riding a public bus when I looked out of the open window and spotted the tree for the first time. I've been here for like billions of times but I never really noticed this tree. This story does not revolve around this tree but it is an important stepping stone.

Let's just get the introduction part done with. I am Mia. Mia Almonds, and I'm fifteen. I have an interesting (in my opinion) story that I'd like to share with you if you are interested. The boring yet important part being done let's just re-enter the story.

It was a fine morning like any other, and as usual I got out of the bed, got dressed, rushed down the staircase, grabbed my break-fast , barely said 'hi' to my step-dad and started walking down the pavement. I wasn't late for my school but I just like to be early.

So I boarded the bus that drops me off at my school gate. Like always I took my favorite seat beside the window and started reading a thick boring history book. The bus takes around forty minutes to reach my school, which is enough time to do my final revision for my history test today.

During this ride I don't know why I looked up for a second when the bus momentarily stopped while a really fat, old woman with thick, round glasses boarded the bus and sat next to me. I noticed that she was breathing heavily after climbing like two and a half stairs.

Anyways, this is the time that I saw the tree for the first time. I take this same bus every day to go to my school by the same route, and my best friend lives nearby so I've been on this street for more than hundred times now, and I've never even looked at this tree for a second. It actually felt like the tree was never here, it just sprang up overnight just to surprise me. I found myself staring out of the open window lost in my thoughts for like ten minutes, trying to explain the sudden appearance of the tree. But while struggling to remember the existence of this tree I completely lost track of time and didn't even realize that my stop had arrived.

The conductor was practically screaming at me for not getting the hell out of the bus. I quickly gathered my open history book, school bag and almost stumbled out of the bus.

I heard the school bell ring so I decided to put the important thought of the mysterious popping up of the tree in the back of my mind for the school hours. Before entering the assembly hall I didn't miss out on unconsciously promising myself to revisit the incident that I temporarily put a hold on to deal with the demand of the situation.
