In a few days time, it will be time for every Australian to celebrate the centenary of us being apart of WW1. This is a massive deal for me, even though i wasnt alive during that period of time. My great great grandfather died during battle and we never really learnt anything about him from relatives.
Until now. My sister, being apart of a whole branch of the Repat Saviour, you dont need to know details, has found 48 pages of information on him, and the most surprising thing was found. He had tattoos on his forearms and his chest. Now my nan doesnt like tattoos but hopefully that changes her mind a little bit.
I would just like to commemorate the surviving and dead soldiers who have fought to protect the country. If it wasnt for them i may not be here today...
Thank you
