It is revealed that they captured Tails and not Sonic.
"You incompetent fools! I cannot trust you with the simplest of tasks. All right. We can work this to our advantage" said Zavok. "Somebody messed up royally, because we don't have Sonic" said Zomom as he came running in. "We know!" snapped the rest of the Deadly Six.
