Myles POV:
I heard a knocking at the door. I ran down and opened the door to see Ari waiting there. She looked stunned."Myles, I'm being blackmailed."
"What do you mean?"
"There was another note about my dad," she said as she looked down.
I grabbed her into a hug. I didn't know how this person was getting into her house or if the threats he or she are making are legit, but we have to treat them like they are
"What do I do?" She asked
"I have no idea."
Ari's POV:
My dad still wasn't home and I had to completely forget about being mad at Myles. I needed to tell someone, but I feel that telling someone might just be making this even worse.
I forgave Myles and told him that we should just forget about what happened earlier. Deep down though, I was still a little annoyed about it.
We were watching Netflix together and he was being really distant. It's like I had a disease and he wouldn't sit near me.
"You want to sit near me?" I asked
"Sure," he said while getting up and moving closer to me on the couch.
I nuzzled myself into him and he wrapped his arm around me. Slowly I realized that we were cuddling and I couldn't help to get swarmed with his scent.
I started to think about how I've felt around Myles. I've put everything on hold for Myles, which might have been a bad idea.
School starts in a few days and I'm so infatuated with spending time with Myles everyday that I can't help but dread going back to school.
"You're really special to me Ari," he said.
"What do you mean?" I asked, knowing exactly what he meant but wanting to hear it from him.
"I've never had someone like this before. I can't tell you how happy I've been these past few weeks. You really make me happy Ari, thank you." he smiled
"Myles, you have made me feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I really love spending time with you. YOU make me really happy, thank you Myles." I smiled really wide.
Slowly, Myles leaned in and kissed my forehead. I started blushing and getting really warm.
"Am I making you blush?" he asked while chuckling.
"No," I looked down while smiling.
"I think I am," he laughed.
I looked up at him while smiling and he just looked down at me while we were still embraced. I don't know what made me do this, but I leaned in and kissed him, dead on the lips.
I can't tell you how amazing this was. I felt like I was finally letting go of all of the built up feelings inside me.
He kissed back.
That was the part that made me happier than ever. I really thought Myles had no interest in me like that, but I couldn't keep living my life assuming he didn't like me. I needed an answer, and I got it.
Myles POV:
Well, this was a plot twist.
I kissed back immediately. I can't tell you how amazing it was to finally kiss Ari. I didn't want to stop, and a matter of fact, we didn't.
"I'm so glad you finally did that," I let out.
"I'm so glad I finally did that too," she laughed.
"Do you want to stay over tonight?"
"Of course," she smiled.
It was getting later so we ordered some Chinese. We brought it into the living room and started watching Law & Order.
"You look really cute over there," I said while she was spilling her Lo Mein everywhere.
"Shut up," she laughed while picking up all of the noodles.
After we finished eating, we went up to my room. My mom wasn't home because she was in Atlanta, Georgia for some work.
I knew my limits though.
She noticed my guitar and asked me to play her a song. I was actually kind of nervous because I've never played in front of anyone except one of my only friends from back home Kalin.
"I'm not very good," I stated.
"I don't care Myles. No judgment here," She smiled.
How am I supposed to concentrate on playing the right notes when she's over there looking sexy?
I began playing Beyonce's "Mine." This was one of my favorite songs that I actually just learned.
"Myles, you're amazing. Does anyone know that you're this talented?"
"My mom does and my friend from back home. But I don't have too many friends to show," I laughed although it did kind of upset me that I didn't have more friends.
I don't really want to be popular, but it would be nice to have a few friends that I could hang out with.
"I'm so tired Ari. I can barely stay awake. I'm going to sleep."
"Okay, I'll go to the guest room," she said.
"No, you're staying here." I demanded.
She smiled and changed into some of my baggy clothes. I was so tempted to do so many things to her, but I knew not to.
"You look so good," I bit my lip.
She just blushed and walked to the bed and got under the covers.
I took my shirt off and just kept some joggers on and went into the bed. I grabbed Ari and brought her right against me. We kissed, a lot before I finally told her I wanted to sleep.
"Thank you Ari, for an amazing day. I'm so glad that our feelings for each other are just out there now."
"Myles, stop being sappy and get sleep," she said and then kissed me.
