"Hey, what's the matter?", Sonic enters, seeing Shadow sob deeply. Shadow discloses what happened. "W-woah. Well, that's rough.", Sonic stutters. "--so, um--?", he is now speechless. "It's okay. You don't have to say anything.", Shadow answers. "You being here is enough.", he thinks, calmed by his friendly presence.
"At least you know where you really belong! Right, Shadow?", Sonic continues, "--So, I got your back."
