When summer came around, you heard of dumbledore dying

And Harry seeing it and you and Sirius were thinking of leaving, you both need to protect regulus, so even if Sirius stays to protect Remus, you have to leave the country

Regulus needs to be protected and you and Sirius know he's not safe here anymore

On the way back home on the train hermione asks about the note

"Who's R.A.B." Hermione asks and I sigh

"I saw a bedroom at Sirius's place, Regulus Arcturus Black, and Sirius told me that regulus is his little brothers name that's why they named their son regulus." I say and hermione nods "But Sirius also said he was a death eater and Sirius didn't know how he died, I think he died trying to destroy this horcrux." I say and Ron looked upset

"So Sirius has went around thinking his brother died a death eater? That's actually sad if that's true." Ron says and I nod but maybe if I show him this he'll understand what happened

When Harry came home he didn't even say hi aunt y/n just asked where's Sirius

"He's packing up mine and regulus's stuff why?" You say and Harry runs upstairs and you follow him

"Sirius! Sirius! Sirius! Sirius! Sirius! Sirius!" Harry says and Sirius looks over confused

"What?" He says and you walk into the room as Harry hands Sirius the locket and Sirius opens it to see the note

You saw Sirius's shocked face

"Sirius what is it?" You ask and Sirius sighs

"I didn't even have to see the initials to know this is my brothers handwriting, he did a cursive Y and E even if all the over letters aren't, I hated how he would do that it annoyed me so much."  Sirius says and you take it and read it

"So this means your brother was trying to destroy the actual horcrux." You say and Sirius nods as he had to sit down and think of what this meant, you just comfort Sirius and hug him as you rub his back, as he had so many thoughts running through his head now and so many questions now

*I don't even know what to think anymore but I do wonder how on earth did regulus die? And why did he never tell me he was gonna do this? Like I would have helped him if he just asked, maybe he'd still be here if he did*
