A few months has past and the war was over
I walk into the ministry of magic and wave to everyone who stopped and stared as I carried peter
"Hey how's your day going." I say to the auror who stopped me and started saying call the dementors "Hey calm down I brought the real person who betrayed James and lily potter, now meet peter pettigrew." I say and the aurors eyes widen as I smile widely at them and they take us both to a questioning room
I was given a truth potion and peter was also given one but is being questioned in a different room
"Did you betray the potters?" The auror asks and I laugh
"Oh no definitely not, James was like a brother to me and his sister is the mother of my child and my fiancée." I say and then I face palm "I don't wanna say I've been hiding out at my who was my ex girlfriend but isn't now and we're engaged and have a baby together now, ah fuck." I say and the auror sighs as they kept asking questions and I answered them all
They even looked through my memories and Peters
And well peter was taken away and now all the paper work to make me not a criminal was being down

I was right now writing a letter to y/n, to come back I wanted to surprise her by being outside free when she comes back
The auror says I do need to have a trial first
"Oh woah they actually give you those, I thought it was a myth since I was just thrown into Azkaban without one, talk about violating my human rights." I say rolling my eyes and the auror looked shocked I said that *Peter is going to be behind bars in Azkaban and I'll be free, take that as karma you bitch*
