Sitting at the back backfired on me big time. This was supposed to cover me from reciting during Philosophy, but nooooo. Ms. Larkins just had to start at the back! Now I'm starting to regret drinking last night, especially when I have a killer hangover as the aftermath.
Horrible and disastrous was an understatement for what happened last night. Considering it was a school night, and drinking is something no one would ever do. Except for knuckleheads such as Tristan and Cameron.
A day earlier
"Yo, we should totally go to Gerard's party. Something to warm you up for what's in store here." Cameron offered, making different hand gestures with his arms.
I snickered and wiped the dust off my pants, getting ready to leave. "I think he's had enough of that, Cam."
Tristan's smile faltered and he shot me a glare which shot tingles down my spine. I didn't want to admit it to his face, but he still intimidated me. "Sure." He shrugged.
"Sorry Cam, but this is one of your known bad ideas. Drinking on a school night? Who does that?"
"Me." Cameron and Tristan both said in unison. Okay, apparently them. But that isn't a logical reason for me to go with them! With all my homework and essays due tomorrow, I'm dead.
"Idiots." I muttered under my breath.
"No one's forcing you to go." Tristan said in a low tone, so I was the only one that heard it. Seriously? They're planning to go to Gerard's party to get wasted and high?
That gives me an amazing idea. Even better than the time I stole Cameron's boxers and stuffed it in his locker once. It's a long story. "You know what? I'll go." I said and gave him a sick smile. He doesn't know what's about to hit him.
"She will?"
"You will?"
I met Tristan's hazel eyes and I looked away as fast as possible. I've never been too good with handling problems. "I will." I firmly said. This could be the bridge to making him fall in love me.

It took me a while to find out what I would be wearing. Normally, I would just go to Alex but I don't think my situation is fit for that right now. She'll just tease me non-stop about Cameron.
I was wearing a white dress that clung tightly to my body. It reached mid thigh and had a cut in the side where it exposed my legs. With that, I was wearing black pumps to match my dress. My make up was done well, but natural enough because who really dresses up to parties just to mess it all up in the morning? That's just stupid.
A knock on my door made me flinch and caught me off guard. "Lara! Your friends are here. Be back here by 1 AM, or else I'm telling mom." Sam barked through the wall.
I opened it quickly to reveal Samantha wearing a dress. "And where are you going?" I inquired.
"Out." She said and left with a stern look on her face. Sam might be younger than me, but I could totally say that she's tougher and more intimidating than me. Although I'm glad she's my sister. Without her I would be busted about getting money from Nate's bank account when I need it for emergencies.
My heels clicked on the floor and I went down as fast as I could. Both of them were lounging freely on my couch and I rolled my eyes. I cleared my throat and raised my eyebrows to get their attention on me.
Tristan looks hot.
What?
Oh come on, Lara, he might be your enemy but you can't deny that he's a hot piece of ass.
