Chapter 10

*Next day after event!*
Charlie's P.O.V
(I skipped the show because I didn't want to explain all that stuff over again, you guys probably knows what happens anyway!!😋)
I'm currently getting ready for my date with Shawn, I'm ecstatic, I can't hold in my giggles and I never ever giggle!
Shawn said to wear something comfy so I pick out light blue jean shorts a white and blue tank top with a Grey Cardigan over it. I shove on a pair of white converse and put my short brown hair up on a cute messy bun. I apply a light coat of mascara and a thin winged out eyeliner. I look in the mirror and nod in approval. I then skip down the stairs to wait.
"So, where's lover boy taking you?" Rachel asks a wide grin plastered on her tanned face.
"I don't know yet." I smile while walking over to see who was knocking on the hotel room door. I unlocked it and swung it open, there in the hallway was Shawn with his guitar stung around his shoulders, blue jeans and a red plaid T-shirt on. I smile, wave goodbye to Rachel and step outside the door. Shawn spun the guitar around so the strap was in the front and the instrument was on the back. He embraced me in a big hug not saying a thing when I struck my hand against the neck of his guitar. "Hey" he said still hugging me. "hey Shawn." I giggle he lets go and we walk side by side out of the Hotel. "We're going to the beach by the way!" He smiles widely at me and I grin back. We walk in silence, a comfortable silence, enjoying each others company. Suddenly not saying anything Shawn grabs my hand in his and interlocks our fingers, I look down at our hands then up at Shawn who was smiling, I smile back and turn to looking ahead, then he plants a sweet kiss upon my cheek which made me blush uncontrollably. "you look really pretty, tonight!" He whispers braking the silence. "you don't look to bad yourself Mr.Mendes!" I giggle swinging our arms as we walk the rest of the way to the beach.

When we arrive Shawn leads me to a spot on the beach where he has a a picnic basket laid down on a spread out blanket. Shawn motions for me to sit down, I let go of his hand, slip off my converse and sit cris cross on the blanket, Shawn takes a seat next to me and unpacks the basket; he hauls out 2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches chocolate covered strawberries and a drink for each of us. He hands me a sandwich and I take it from him. we eat our sandwiches and strawberries in silence. when we finish, it was just about dark and the stars were out, Shawn packed up the picnic basket and set it aside. I sigh and lay down so I'm facing the billions of stars in the sky. Shawn grabs his guitar and starts to strum a soft tune.
After playing for a while he puts the guitar away and lies down next to me and intertwines our fingers.
"Charlie?"
"Hmm."
"Brooklyn doesn't seem to be very happy, do you know what's the matter?" Shawn asks a hint of worry in his voice.
"I know, she isn't herself lately, I wonder what's wrong?"
"Maybe you should ask her when you get back to the hotel?" He suggests
"Yeah, I could try."
I give him a slight smile before sitting up.
"We should maybe get beck to the hotel." I say.
Shawn sits up too.
"Mhhm, we should."
I turn to face him, "I had fun tonight thanks a lot." I inform him.
"It was my pleasure, I had fun too."
I look deep into his sparkling brown eyes. He slowly leans in cupping my face with both his hands,he leans in until there is no gap between us, his forehead is touching mine, he smiles before crashing his full soft lips onto mine, and we share a passionate kiss. (FYI, I'm not good with all that romantic stuff so if it wasn't that good, sorry!💎) we pull apart and my cheeks turn bright red. we both stand up Shawn puts his giutar over his shoulders and we walk hand in hand back to the hotel.

Still Charlie's P.O.V
*in her hotel room*
I walk into my hotel room after saying goodnight to Shawn, I shut the door quietly behind me thinking that everyone is in bed. I hear little sobs coming from the bathroom, I quietly walk to the small hotel bathroom, I put my ear to the door and listen, I hear Brooklyn saying nasty and very colourful words about herself, I can't take hearing her talk like that so I push open the door, the sight I see will haunt me for the rest of my life it was horrible.
