elle and leeteuk started off as friends but it wasn't long until both of them got together in 2015, when elle turned 19 years old internationally and 20 years old, korean age.
for over two years, fans who hated them together tried a lot of methods to separate them and even affected both super junior and bts' schedules. elle was the most mistreated member by fans in 2015 and 2016.
