❪ ELLE's POV ❫
I grabbed the phone on my side and look at the time.
It was 01:28 am and I'm in pain.
I've been awake for nearly 30 minutes, monitoring my contractions for 30 minutes. It's consistent but my water hasn't break yet. However, I'm sweating.
Cold yet sweating.
I slowly swing my legs to the side of the bed. I can still move but in pain. Slowly, I walk to the bathroom, making sure I don't wake Leeteuk first.
Still, I was able to wash my face and brush my teeth first. Pain was coming every 5 minutes. That's what I notice. If every 1 minute, baby is coming in perhaps, 5 minutes.
After washing my face and brushing my teeth, I change my clothes and by that time, Leeteuk have woken up. He entered the bathroom, asking me if I was okay.
"I'm having contractions already. We need to go to the hospital." I said to him while putting on my maternity dress.
"Really?" He asked me and I nodded slowly.
I gathered my hair and just clip it up.
"Should we wake eomma up?" He asked me. I hissed when I feel the contractions coming again.
He came to me and immediately carried me out of the bathroom.
"Alright. We need to go now." He said as he walks us out of the bedroom.
"I'll get the bags first and wake eomma. Wait here. Calm down. Relax. Breathe in and out." He said as he places me on the couch. I nodded.
"Take my purse and phone on my nightstand." I told him before he walks.
"Okay." He said.
I was still calm. The pain didn't kick in a lot yet. I remembered Manager Ji-eun told me that when baby is really crowning, I'll feel like my skin is torn apart. I mean – my vagina.
"Hayeon? Leeteuk?" I heard and turned.
"Oh, eomma." I said as I panted calmly.
"Are you feeling pain already?" She asked me and I nodded quickly.
"Eomma," Leeteuk came out of our bedroom.
"Are we going to the hospital already?" Eomma asked.
"Nae." Leeteuk replied.
"Alright. You get the car ready. I'll get my phone and purse first." Eomma said and hurried back into her room. I nodded.
"Can you still hold the pain?" Leeteuk asked me and I nodded.
"I'm fine. Get the car ready." I said to him and he hurried out of the house.
