All Because of a Book ( Daminette )

Prologue

Marinette had recently moved to Gotham because of all her problems in Paris. After 3 years of fighting Hawk Moth was finally defeated with the help of her new partner Queen Wasp aka Chloe Bourgeois; he turned out to be her former partner's father Gabriel Agreste. Her former partner Chat Noir aka Adrien Agreste had miss-used his miraculous by abusing its power and hence she was forced to take the miraculous for him. She was upset knowing that her partner was the spineless coward Adrien Agreste, her former crush. Who had left her only by giving a terrible advice: 'take the high road'

She also had moved due many other problems in her civilian life. Being bullied by her class was one of them. All because of the liar-Lila Rossi. Every world coming out of that girl was a lie. Her closest friends believed her and now she was alone. At least that's what she thought until one day Chloe Bourgeois, her former nemesis apologized and they became great friends, Marinette had trusted Chole with her identity. Her parents did not fall for Lila Rossi's lies because like Marinette they fact checked everything and knew that their daughter was not a bully. Her class teacher Ms. Caline Bustier supported her as well cause she knew Lila was a liar, she fact checked everything too. Even though Ms. Bustier couldn't do much because the dumb wanna be owl hero principal believed the liar and Ms. Bustier didn't wanna lose her job.

Marinette could not take all the bullying so she decided to move to Gotham with Chloe and Jagged Stone, her honorary uncle. Marinette had started her own designing brand. She went by her initials M.D.C and her identity was kept a secret. She rose quickly in the fashion industry. Her ideas were brand new and very creative. Her brand name was now mentioned among famous fashion designers and the style queen who was Chloe's mom, her relation with her daughter was now better than ever. As she took some lessons in parenting from Sabine and so they were great friends too.

When she heard about Marinette and Chloe being bullied by the liar she was not okay so when she heard that Jagged wanted to take Chloe and Marinette to Gotham to expand her business and get into a proper school which had designing class. Audrey encouraged Marinette to go as it was a really good opportunity for her and she really needed to get out of the toxic environment in her school. It would be great for her and Chloe as well. Marinette's parents highly approved of this. So by the end of the week Marinette was all packed up and ready to leave. She and Chloe had a last day at school. No one knew of Marinette leaving other than Ms. Bustier and the dumb principal.

Ms. Bustier was sad about her leaving but was happy to because Marinette and Chloe wouldn't be bullied by Lila anymore and were set free of the troublesome class, she was going to miss her favorite two students.

Soon without a word on their last day Marinette and Chloe left the class happily knowing they wouldn't have to see their faces ever again. At least that's what they thought...
