Marinette reached the library and began her search for the history reference text book. No one was there in the library other than the librarian.
While Marinette was looking for the reference textbook a boy with jet black hair and green eyes entered 'he is hot... No no no no no hot boys are jerks you are not falling for some idiot you just saw' Marinette thought to herself trying to ignore the boy who had just entered the library. She looked at the boy for a second only to see him shoot a glare at her 'the audacity' so Marinette shot a glare right back at him. 'So he is a jerk indeed'.
Marinette ignored him again and continued her search for the reference book; after searching for a while she didn't seem to find the book. So she went to the librarian to ask for the book.
"Hello miss, I am looking for a history reference guide. Can you please tell me where to find it" Marinette asked the librarian sweetly
"Hello, are you one of the new students?" She asked the bluenette politely
"Yes miss" Marinette replied
"Well, welcome to Gotham Academy. Sorry to inform you this but the book you are looking for has been taken by someone else currently" The librarian informed Marinette
"Oh okay. Can you please inform me as soon as the person returns the book"
"Sure"
Marinette had a little more time before class starts so she decide to look for a good book to read. She loved reading books they bought here mind of stuff. When she was reading she would forget about her problems. She would go to the library at her previous school to get out of Lila's fake sob stories and lies. No one would find her there other than Chole. It was her get away spot. She had read many books but out of them all she loved the famous book series of Harry Potter. She had even made Chloe read Harry Potter and now they both were crazy Potterhead.
As Marinette was walking looking through different books she came across the first Harry Potter book: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. She smiled as she took the book, she knew what she was going to do; She was going to reread the entire series again. She is obsessed with it.
Little did she know a set of eyes were staring at her...
