All Because of a Book ( Daminette )

Chapter 4

Damain was observing the blue haired girl that was in the library with him. He had never seen her at GA before -' she must be one of the new students that Kent was talking about' Damian thought. He saw that she was looking at him so he did what he did. He glared at her and the blue haired girl glared right back at him. He was a little surprised by her actions but tried to ignore her(keyword tired). So after that he continued to observe what the new girl was doing. She went to the librarian and had a conversation which wasn't audible to Damian.

He watched as the girl started searching for some book. He could see as the new girl picked out the first book of Harry Potter-'Such a childish choice' Damian thought. He looked at the time and saw he had more time. So he chose to ignore the girl and mind his own business.

                                                                         ~10 minutes later~

The bell rang and the both of them headed to their next class. They reached the class together and realized that they had the same class. Marinette sat on the last seat in a corner to avoid people and mind her own business. Damian noticed that the new girl had sat on his seat. He wanted to tell her to go away but then he knows that he doesn't own the seat and anyone who wishes can sit there, but he glared at her anyway cause she was sitting there. Damian decided to sit on the last bench on the other side of the room.

The day had gone by smoothly for Marinette and Chloe. Now it was time for their lunch break. Their new friend Jon invited them to sit with him and his best friend. Marinette immediately recognized the guy sitting next to Jon; he was the incredibly hot looking jerk from the library and her first lecture who had glared at her.

"Hey guys" Chloe says as she sits opposite Jon. Marinette sits beside her. "Hello newbies. This is my buddy Damian" Jon says as he puts his arm around Damian's shoulder.

Damian has a blank expression on his face. He quickly recognizes Marinette as the girl who glared back at him in the library. They all chat till the lunch break ends. Marinette was quick to observe that Damian wasn't much of a talker. He wasn't quite extroverted like Jon.

The day had gone by pretty smoothly for Marinette and Chloe. Both of them went through their usual routines. Marinette was happy today was by far the best day she had in a really long time. No Lila, no annoying classmates, no chat noir flirting with her, she felt relaxed for the first time. She decided to end the day by completing her commission and calling her parents. Marinette was fast asleep.

Damian on the other hand had a boring day, he was tired from school and patrolling at night and his girlfriend hadn't called him all day. He knew she was busy so he decided not to disturb her. He instead decided that he would go over to the Teen Titans tower tomorrow to check on her and surprise her.
