A/n: Okay I know I said I would get this out like forever ago but here it is. And on that note we are no longer short staffed at my job so I should be able to post more but no promises. Also I won't really be following the campaign of fallout new Vegas, I'm just sorta gonna make it up as I go and put some campaign stuff in there.
" Agrrrr my head. " I say as I sit up from the bed I was in?
??? " How bout that. Hoo easy there, you've been out cold a couple of days now. "
" Huh where am I. " I say, the world spinning around as I sit there.
How did I get here. I know I jumped off that building, so why am I alive.
??? " Your lucky they pulled you outta that shallow grave and brought you here. "
Shallow grave? What's that about? This place.... It doesn't look like a hospital so where.
??? " By that look on your face you don't remember anything do ya kid. " the mysterious and supposed doctor said to me.
" No I don't. What do you mean pulled me out of a shallow grave and where am I. "
??? " Well I'm doc Mitchell, it good to meet you. Do you know your name at the very least kid. "
" yah it izuku aizawa. Can you tell me how I got here. "
Doc Mitchell " well I told ya all I know really. Some girl brought you here with a bullet in fragments in you head but I was able to get it all out. So tell me does you face seem in place right." The doc said handing me a mirror.
" Yeah that me all right but do you know the name of my savior. I'd like the chance to thank them myself."
Doc Mitchell " no she just left you here but before she left. She said if you want to meet her, go up to the water tower, up on the hill."
" Okay, thank you for the help but I'm afraid I have nothing to pay you with."
Doc Mitchell " it's quite all right son. Now let's get you all set to go."
I didn't Say anything. I didn't know what to say. I mean I just wake up in a random place after killing myself. What should I say. If nothing then what.
He helped me up and brought me to the front door and gave me a 9mm pistol and a holster. I was confused until he opened the door and I saw a two headed cow.
" What's up with the two headed cow?"
Doc Mitchell " it seems you really have forgotten everything huh. That there's a Brahmin. A mutated cow, it happened after the nukes fell some 204 years ago. Almost all creatures mutated after that. "
" Oh. Tell me is there a way to earn money around here."
Doc Mitchell " yes there is, see that board over there. It's filled with bounty's that can earn you some caps. The harder the job is, the more caps you'll get but you could die if you poorly equiped and that my friend, you are. I say start with the easy jobs first and work your way up as you get more caps for better equipment. Your choice either way. From the look of it, me sayin' caps is confusing you. Well all around these parts caps are the common currency. You'll find some pre-war money every now n' then, it's got value so keep it close and make sure to scavenge what you can from the wasteland. Never know when you might find something good."
" Thanks again I really mean it. I'll be going now, goodbye."
Doc Mitchell " before you go. Here take this Pip-Boy, it's standard vault-tec issued but I've no use for it now. But I've got a feeling you'll find it useful. Well you'd best be on your way."
