Ellington Ratliff imagine

One R5 concert changed your life forever.
You went to a one off show and you decided to buy meet and greet. They've helped you so much in the past, and you wanted them to know it.
You got there super early before anybody else.
You were waiting outside when a security guard came up to you.
"You've been invited inside on the behalf of R5" he smiles.
"Um, is this some kind of joke?" You looked around for the cameras, just anything that would make it seem like a prank.
"No miss, Ellington spotted you and asked me to call you inside." the security guard was still slightly smiling.
"Okay....." you reply unsure, slowly trailing behind him.
He leads you backstage, and you stare around in awe.
You spot Ryland fixing up the lights and wires.
"Hey!" He shouts down.
"Oh my god...." you whisper, slightly shaking.
"Um, uh, hi!" You wave as you walk past him.
The security guard leads you to a dressing room. Attached to the door was a piece of paper with the R5 logo on it.
Under neath that was R5 written in bold writing.
"They're in here miss" he stood up straight, like a guard outside a Queens palace.
"Um, thanks" you reply, still thinking it was some sick prank.
You open the door, your hand shaking slightly.
You instantly hear laughter as you open the door and a warm feeling of friendship and love hits you as you open the door.
They all turn to look at you and you freeze in your spot.
"Hello!" Riker says, smiling.
"I-I-um-hello!" You stutter, mentally facepalming because you knew you were embarrassing yourself.
You hear Ellington slightly chuckle and your cheeks heat up.
"Aw, you're blushing!" Ross giggled slightly.
You start to blush even more.
"What's your name? I love your dress and your hair!" Rydel smiles.
"I'm Y/N, and thank you, it means a lot from you." you smile proudly and confidently.
"Well, Ellington spotted you alone outside and asked if he could call you in. Sit down, don't be scared" Rocky grinned.
You slowly walk over and sit beside Ellington.
"So, what kind of music do you like? Besides us, obviously" Ellington laughed.
"Um, I actually like Arcade Fire a lot." you say.
"No way! They're one of my favourite bands!" Ellington grins.
You all got on amazingly. Like a dog and a bone.
"Well, we better get to soundcheck. Nice hanging with you Y/N" Riker smiles warmly.
Everybody waves and hugs you and walks away.
Everybody except Ellington.
"You're truly beautiful, you know that? I never really believed in love at first sight until I saw you." He blushed.
You just smile, as butterflies swarm your stomach and your heart beat quickens.
You try to speak but your throat clogs up.
"I'd really love to get to know you even more. I better go, bye Y/N" he smiles, his pearly white teeth glowing at you.
As you walk away, tears of happiness fill your eyes.
Later that night, he gave you his number.
3 years later, and you and Ellington are still going strong. You feel on top of the world around him.
You told him that you sing and ever since, you perform before R5 do on tour.
Rydel is your best friend, Riker and Rocky are like the big protective brothers you never had and Ross and Ryland are like the crazy little brothers you dreamed of playing games with.
You were scrolling through Twitter, you were playing a show later and this was how you killed time.
You noticed a lot of sudden drama.
You read a tweet aloud.
"Y/N is only using Ellington for fame." you choke out, your throat refusing to swallow.
"Rydellington is 100x more believable than Y/N and Ellington. It's management forcing them together" you quietly said.
You found yourself scrolling through all the horrific tweets R5 fans had sent.
They were bashing you just because you were living their dream.
You started to sob quietly, tears spilling everywhere.
You heard a light knock and you turned around, Ellington walked in holding a bouquet of roses smiling.
His smile suddenly faded as he saw you sob, he felt heartbroken.
"Baby, what's wrong?" He knelt down beside you.
All you did was show him the tweets, and he scrolled through them.
"Oh my god.... these are.... horrible! None of this stuff is even true!" Ellington raged.
He pulled out his phone.
"Wh-what are you doing?" You stutter, rubbing your eyes.
"Telling the fans what I think of this!" Ellington typed furiously.
Your phone buzzed and you read the Twitter notification.
@ratliffR5: I've read the tweets and I'm not happy. @(your user) and I are very happy together. please be happy for me. I love her!
You smile and look up into his eyes.
"Thank you Ellington, I love you too" you smile as he smiles back.
"Anytime. I bought you these too. Plus, later on, look through those tweets and I bet you there's fans that love you too" Ellington smiled, handing you flowers.
You quickly kissed him as he hurried off for hair styling and a change of clothes.
You read through the lovely tweets, smiling at each one.

You laughed, the support was tremendous.
You then came across a tweet.
@rydellingtonisreal_: yeah? Well explain this Ratliff!
Your heart broke as you clicked on the picture.
It was Ellington and Rydel kissing.
Your best friend and your boyfriend.
Before you could react, you heard a knock and in stepped Riker.
"Y/N, you're up soon!" He smiled before quickly closing the door.
You decided to confront Ellington.
You raced over to his dressing room, furious.
You knocked on his door angrily.
"Hey babe! What's wrong?" He frowned.
You shoved the phone in his face.
"Explain THIS!" You cried out.
"Babe, this isn't rea-" Ellington was cut off by a security guard.
"Y/N, you're up!" He said, grabbing your arm.
"WE'RE DISCUSSING THIS LATER! YOU HAVENT GOT AWAY WITH THIS ELLINGTON LEE RATLIFF!" You yell as you're dragged away.
You go on stage and fake a smile.
"What's up R5family? You ready to rock tonight?" You hear a mixture of screams back and you stare back at the sold out shows.
How will you explain it to the fans?
If you and Ellington break up, no more this.
You hear the guitarist start to strum "Love Story" by Taylor Swift.
You start to sing, the crowd singing along with you.
"I got tired of waiting,
Wondering if you were ever coming around.
My faith in you was fading,
When I met you on the outskirts of town.
And I said..."
You sing with so much emotion from the drama between you and Ell.
"Romeo, save me, I've been feeling so alone.
I keep waiting for you but you never come.
Is this in my head? I don't know what to think."
He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said..."
Suddenly Ellington runs in front of you and gets on one knee.
You drop your mic in shock.
"Marry me, Juliet, you'll never have to be alone.
I love you, and that's all I really know.
I talked to your dad - go pick out a white dress,
It's a love story, baby, just say, 'Yes.'"
He sings to you in the now silent hall.
He pulls out a box and opens it up.
"Y/N, I've loved you since I first saw you. You're so beautiful and I love everything about you. The way you smile, the way you laugh, the music you like, how pretty you are, your personality is amazing and I always fall more and more in love with you every single day. That photo you saw is an edit, I would never ever cheat on you in a thousand years. I want to grow old with you and have a huge family with you, the person who made that edit is just a jealous fan trying to split us up. I don't care what anybody else thinks, I think you're beautiful and I love you to pieces and I could never imagine myself without you. I just wanna scream to the world I LOVE Y/N! So, will you do me the honour of being my wife, Mrs Y/N Ratliff?"
You're now in tears.
"YES ELLINGTON!" You scream, running into his arms.
You see Ross crying tears of joy on the side and you feel a warmth inside of you.
Suddenly, your band starts playing "Marry You" by Bruno Mars and R5 and Ryland run on stage shouting "SHE SAID YES!" And Ross started spraying silly string everywhere.
The R5family cheered, happy for you and Ellington.
And your future? Growing old together and a big family? You just have to wait and find out....
