Day POV

I rolled over and there was Capo, knocked out. I smiled before slapping him awake,

"What the hell was that for?"

"Get out." I said calmly and happily. I could feel my legs so I know nothing went down.

"Whachu' trippin' for? Aint like we did anything."

"It's the fact that you are an about to be married ass man."

"Just chill. It was one night."

"I'm about to chill. "Chilling" is what gets your ass some "chill-dren."

"Damn, you crazy."

"Whatever. Now hurry up and leave." I said pushing him out of my bedroom.

"Hold on." He chuckled as he pushed his weight back, slowing him down.

"What is the issue now?" I asked.

"I was serious about last night. I want that to be us except I'm not being forced out of the house the next morning. Daijah, come on." He said sincerely as he held my hand.

"Cam, what? You expect me to take you back? Lets not forget the fact that you are getting married in three weeks. Now all of a sudden you want to get back with me?"

"I wanted you back five years ago. I never wanted you to leave in the first place."

No lie that I would love to get back together with Capo, but I can't. I refuse to get back together if he had to think fove years and make another women his wife, for him to come to his senses about if he wants me or not.

"Capo just go. I'll see you tomorrow." I said with my head down. He pecked my cheek and left out.

I walked upstairs and took a shower. I looked up at the clock as I lotioned my leg.

"Mommy, where are we goin?" Lyric asked as she put on her shoes.

"To see your grandma and grandpa."

"Yay!" She said sarcastically. I laughed slightly as he sat back down. She loves my mom but doesn't really get along with my step dad even though that both spoil the absolute hell out of her.

"Come on girl." I said as I grabbed my purse and keys. I was halfway down the stairs when I heard my phone start ringing.

"Lyric, can you grab my phone?"

"Yeah." She said as she ran back upstairs and into my bathroom.

I started to smile as I saw Anthony's face and number across my screen.

"Hello?" I smiled as I walked down the stairs.

"Wassup babygirl?"

"I'm about to go to my mom's house right quick."

"Damn, a nigga wanted to see you." He chuckled.

"Why you aint tell me you were in town? Where you at?"

"I wanted to surprise you. Open the door."

"Okay." I said before hanging up. I opened the door and Anthony stood there with his secsi self.

"Come with us." I said as I drug him to the garage.

"Wait. No 'Hey I missed you'? He stopped me. He turned me aroundto where there was no air to flow between us.

"I dont miss you though." I lied.

"Umhm. Keep playin'." He squinted. I laughed as we headed to the garage once again.

"Where is my favorite daughter-in-law in the world?" He asked as we walekd through the kitchen.

"Favorite? It better be your only." I said and he chuckled. What he failed to realize was that I was oh so dead ass serious.

"Okay." We hopped in the car and Lyric wipped her self to the front, hugging him from the side.

"Hey Uncle Ant." She smiled and he smirked. I knew exactly what he was thinking.

"Put your seatbelt on so we can leave." I said and she sat back. I pulled out and made out way to my mom's house.

~~~~~~
We finally found a space down at the end of the street adn walked up to her house. I can't believe she had a party without me.
"Wheres mom?" I asked Andre as we walked in the house.
"In the kitchen. Who is this?" He asked with his ENA.
"I'll explain later." I shouted over the people speaking, too loudly.
"Hey ma." I said as I kissed her check.
"Hey baby. Hey Lyric."
"Hey nannah." She said before all eyes were on me.
"Ma, who all these people?" I asked.
"Family. I want you to meet them. They have all missed you. Especially one." I said and started wondering.
"Who?"
"Me." I heard a familiar voice say before I turned around and almost died. The man from my past and the person who I thought was locked up. The man who scared the ever loving shit out of me. Why would she bring him here?
