7: Real Love

Daijah POV
"What is he going to think of me?" Bianca asked as we drove to off Lyric.
"Girl, he not my daddy. It doesn't matter what he thinks of you." I assured her. I looked at the caller ID and Ceasia's name flashed across the screen. Damn, haven't talked to her in 3 months.
"Hey girl. What's going on?"
"On my way to drop off Lyric.Wassup?" 

"Meet me at Roscoe's in 20." 

"But I'm busy." I whined.

"You and Bianca can be nasty later."

"We're not even bein' nasty. Bye." I laughed before hanging up.

"Was that my best friend?"

"Yes with her extra rude self." I joked. 

"I am so nervous." 

"You act like its my mom. Its my baby daddy. You've talked to him before."

"Yeah, but that was before about this. Now that I know he's not happy about it." She said as she stayed in the car and I got out.

"Bitch get out." I said as I opened Lyric's door and got her out.

"Baby get up." I said as I unstrapped her.

"My bear." She whined as I tried to closed the door.

"Come on." I said after handing her Mr. Fluffy.

"Come in." Capo yelled after I rung the doorbell.

"Where are you?"

"Kitchen." We walked to the kitchen and he was there with all his friends. Bianca came in and there was a drought throughout the room. That's how thirsty they were. Smdh.

"Okay, yall can close y'all mouths now." I said as I sat down Lyric's bag.

"Who is this?" Capo asked as I walked out.

"That's what I want to talk about. This is my girlfriend, Bianca. Bianca, this is my baby's father, Capo."

"Hi."

"Wassup? Daijah, can I talk to you?"

"Speak."

"In private." He said through gritted teeth and his frustration amused me.

:If you can't say it in front of her, it shouldn't be said." 

"Ight whatever. So when youbecome a lesbian?"

"Correction, bisexual."

"Yeah, that. When this happen?"

"It doesn't matter. It's my business."

"You bein' complicated."

"Oh shut up. I will see you later."

"Yeah, okay." He said looking away.

"You work tonight, right?" Bianca asked as she hopped in the passenger seat.

"No, I got the morning shift."

"Black a hoe for that shit." She joked.

"Don't  you have to go see about Liam tomorrow?" She said speaking about my patient that I take care of part time.

"He said his granddaughter was there for a week so imma work doubles this week."

"Oh, okay." She said.

We pulled up to Roscoe's and Andre was sitting in a booth next to Ceasia. Awe.

"Awe, look at the love birds." I cooed as I made room for myself and Bianca.

"Us? Look at y'all." She laughed.

"I know right. Look at us." I said conceitedly.

"Bitch no."

"Anyway, wassup?" 

"We've got news."

"Aw shit." 

"I'm pregnant."

"Aww, yayy! Now I can make fun of you being fat."

"Hoe, fuck you." She laughed. I looked at Andre and he seemed happy, but there was something off. I started to text him as everyone to eat.

What's wrong with you?

I'm not ready.

To: Andre

Andre, y'all need to talk about this. Don't act al happy to her face then on the inside you are miserable.

From: Andre

I want it, of course, but I don't think she would get pregnant this fast.

To: Andre

I looked up and he was lowkey flipping me the bird. It was about 10 and I had to be at work by 9 so it was time for me to head out.

"Hey, we gotta go." 

"Awe. Okay." Ceasia whined.

"Bye sis."

 Dre spoke as I dropped a $20 bill on the table and headed to the car.

"That's so sweet." I cooed.

"Yeah, they seem like a good couple." Bianca replied.

"What you want to do tonight?" 

"I got work babes." She said with a sad face.

"Damn." i sighed.

"I got you when I come home."

"I'm going to bed heading out then."

"You just gone have to be late then." She snickered.

"Please?" Bianca begged as she kissed my face. She wanted me to take her to work.

"You got a whole car out there." I said trying to push her off me. Then she popped me in the forehead. I know how she hates when people irrelevantly use whole in a sentence.

"Don't take me nowhere just fo that." She said as she got off of me and grabbed her car keys.

"Love you." 

"Whatever, love you too, bye."

She said as she went out the door. I heard footsteps come back up and my door open seconds later.

"What do you want?" I asked unfrightened by his presence. Time for this, again.
