Dynamite Dominion grew up in the Dominion household, happy and surrounded by family.

Her father gave her everything she needed. From the day she turned 4, all she wanted to be is an inventor, so Flame started to tutor her on how to. By 6, she also wanted to be a chef, and he gave her own cooking set to start. Then by 8, she had also taken up gardening, and he gave her a watering can.

Her mother took care of her and her brother. It didn't take long for Dynamite to figure out that she wasn't related to her mother. The looks gave it a way, anyway, and so did their eyes, which didn't match, but Dynamite never felt like that. Phoenix took care of her as if she was her own and treated her and her older half-brother the same way.

And her older brother protected her from all that might hurt her. There had been mockery about her being half of blood, and the students and teachers were sometimes pretty bias on that. Some would bully her, others would threaten and corner her, but Blaze made sure that neither of them couldn touch one pipe on her without going through him first. And when she turned 9 and wanted to take on racing like him, he supported and helped her out.

At age 7, Dynamite herself became a big sister to her new adoptive human brother, AJ Dominion. And by age 8, to her new half-little sister, Sparkle Dominion.

And she had never been happier to be with the family she was in then.

Or at least that's what she thought.

That's what her family thought.

But what is it really?

From the age of 5, Dynamite had realized how confused she was about her gender identity. She wanted to be an inventor, but many mocked that she was a girl, so she couldn't an inventor. When she wanted to a be chef, people questioned if she would end up as a maid instead. It confused her whether she wanted to be a girl or a boy.

Most girls in her school were demanding and choosy. They were also bratty while others were nerdy. She always had to choose between them.

So she chose neither and went with her brother and his friends.

Since then, she suddenly questioned what her identity as a truck was.

Was she a boy?

Or a girl?

Bye age 7, she felt like her female self was fading, and she felt more male after hanging out with her brother and his friends for a little too long.

But she felt too shy and hesitant to tell her family.

And that's how Flame found her, when she was 11, removing her eyelashes from her form in front of her mirror…

"Dynamite…?"

"Gah! Dad!" Dynamite jumped, dropping her eyelashes on the ground.

"What… are you doing in here, kiddo?" Flame chuckled, picking up the eyelashes.

"I…" Dynamite glanced down sheepishly. "I… wanted to see myself without eyelashes…"

"And… did you like what you saw?"

"…yes," Dynamite hesitantly nodded. "I… I did,"

"Okay…" Flame nodded and went by her side. "Okay, I see what's happening here," He motioned to the mirror. "What do you see here, Dynamite?"

"Um… our reflections?" Dynamite tilted her head.

"Yes, but do you know what I see?" Flame smiled. "I see my child. My child whom I love, no matter what gender,"

"R-Really?" Dynamite looked surprised. "You… You don't mind?"

"Of course I don't," Flame gave a chuckle. "And I'm sure your mother and siblings won't either, if you tell them,"

"I… what if they don't accept me?" Dynamite began to tear. "What if Blaze gets weirded out…? What if AJ and Sparkle no longer look up to me because of it? Or what if Mom starts to treat me… differently…?"

"They won't, I promise," Flame assured her as he kissed her head. "Because at the end of the day, you're still going to be Dynamite, our precious Dynamite. Mother and father's child and a sibling to your siblings,"

"I… okay," Dynamite took a deep breath and nodded. "I'll tell them,"

"Pass me the nachos, Dynamite,"

"Okay, Mom," Dynamite nodded and passed the tray.

Phoenix smiled and began to set down the food when she noticed the expression on her older daughter's face. She frowned.

"Are you okay, Dynamite?"

"I… I actually have something to tell you all," Dynamite admitted.

"What is it, niñera?" 14-year old Blaze asked, setting his fork down. "Something wrong?"

"I… I'm not a girl. At least, I don't feel like it…" Dynamite turned away sheepishly.

"What you mean, ¿hermana?" 3-year old Sparkle tilted her head. "What she mean, Mom?"

"Oh," Phoenix's eyes widened in revelation. "OH! I see…"

"She means that she is not girl, big sister is boy!" 4-year old AJ told the orange truck.

"Is that true?" Blaze questioned.

"Mm-hmm…" Dynamite nodded. "I… I hope you all don't mind…"

"Oh, Dynamite, of course we don't mind," Phoenix smiled and held her daughter… er, son, now. "If you feel like a boy, we'll see you as one. We'll call you by proper pronouns and everything,"

"Yeah!" Blaze agreed as he joined in the hug. "You're our sibling no matter what! Plus, now, I have another brother!"

"Yay! More brothers!" Sparkle cheered.

"Yippee!" AJ giggled.

"Thanks, Mom! Thank you, everyone!" Dynamite smiled and returned the hug.

"I told you that they wouldn't mind," Flame chuckled and patted Dynamite's head. "Your family no matter what, remember that,"

"I will," Dynamite smiled and hugged her… er, HIS father. "I love you guys,"
