"Mom, Dad, I'm heading out to see my pen pal!" 12- year old Dynamite called out to his parents as he made his way out the door.

Ever since his confession of his gender identity, the family had helped him transition properly, removing his eyelashes permanently and helping to alter his voice to make it deeper. It took a while for everyone else to adjust to his change of gender, with other girls judging his decision to shift while the boys mocked him for trying to be a boy to get closer to the boys.

Of course, Blaze protected his new brother from all the insults, judgements and mockery. Anyone who even dares to go near Dynamite would be sent to the principal's office in an instant.

Since then, he tried making friends with trucks from far away instead of close by, and with that, he gained a pen pal. It was another guy, in the name of Pickle Exuberant, who lived in another city. And after a couple of letters, they finally get to meet.

"Just a minute, Dynamite!" Flame stopped his son as he came with a large bag. "Don't forget about your other things,"

"Okay, okay…" Dynamite sighed and placed in the backpack on his back. "You know, I don't need ALL of this, you know?"

"We can never be too careful, kiddo," Flame patted his head.

"And don't forget your basket for the picnic you planned once you get there," Phoenix reminded and handed the basket.

"Oh yeah! Thanks, Mom," Dynamite laughed and grabbed the basket.

"And don't forget this!" 4-year old Sparkle drove over with a gift in her tires with 5-year old AJ. "A bye-bye gift!"

"Wow! A gift?" Dynamite set the basket down and took the gift.

He opened it and gasped. He took out a golden, heart-shaped locket from inside.

"Wow… this is amazing!"

"Open it, hermano!" 15-year old Blaze urged with a grin. "You'll love it more,"

"Really, now?" Dynamite opened the locket and gasped at the drawing of their family inside. "Oh, Sparkle, AJ… this painting is so amazing!" He placed the locket around him and smiled. "I'll never take it off, promise,"

"Be safe out there," Flame told him.

"And be back in three days, like you promised," Phoenix added.

"I will, see you all soon," Dynamite smiled and gave them all a hug before heading out.

Unbeknownst to him, there two spies keeping an eye on him from nearby and watched him leave. Once he did, one of them took out a walkie-talkie.

"Mom, she's on the move."

["Attack, and knock out, but bring her here alive. Understood?"]

"Understood."

The travel to the city was longer than Dynamite had anticipated, but with each mile, he knew he was getting closer. As he did, he failed to notice the shadows growing closer towards him, waiting for him to stop to take the advantage.

And there came the opportunity.

Dynamite soon got thirsty and sat down beside a lake to rest and drink. Some ducks were hungry nearby, so he tried to feed them.

When he did, the strangers took this to their advantage. In a second, they knocked him out with a rock and grabbed him and his supplies before dragging him away.

When Dynamite woke up, he found himself in a dungeon.

"Where… what…?"

He tried to move, but the chains held him down, prompting him to sigh in frustration and look around.
